AYANA'S POV

"Whats up Zany!" I chirp like nothing happened and sit cross legged on his bed.

"I assume you had a fine talk with your new boyfriend after the practice. And that's the reason you are so happy despite the scene today at lunch?"

"Yes we talked. And he told me what happened. I am just happy that out of all people here only you thought that I have the right to know and didn't try to hide it from me unlike Asher Emir Miles and Isra." I smile at him. "And that makes me want to give you a bear hug." I jump at his back throwing my arms around his shoulders. "Love you Zayn. I am glad that you never underestimate me. They all think I am too weak to handle things and just hide them from me."

"Fine now get off. You are heavy." He throws me back.

"Ow!" I exclaim as my back collides the mattress with a thud.

"Isra? What did she has to hide?" He asks. Oh shit!

"Uh. Did I mention her name? Must be by mistake. But the point is it was a kiss before we were even together. And I am a little disappointed but he has a point which I understand."

He frowns as if confused about something. "Can you tell me what exactly he told you?"

"He didn't tell me. I found out. Some girl at school had the video captured. She showed it to me."

"What was in the video?"

"The kiss."

"Oh..kaay, elaborate." Zayn asks still looking confused.

"So I was obviously mad to find out but then I asked him and he said it was before we were together and after a detailed conversation I was able to understand."

"So that's it?" He asks.

"Yeah."

"Cool. Now I have to go punch him once more!" Zayn says with rage. What now?

"You don't understand Ayana. It is not what it was about. It's-" He stops and runs fingers through his hair again. "I think you are right. It wasn't that big deal. I over reacted. I am sorry. If it's that you really like him this much and are ready to forgive him then I must have a big heart too. I will see you at dinner I have to do some work." He says pushing me out of his room.

"But I thought we could watch a movie."

"Tonight. Promise. Also we wouldn't have to watch some animated thing as Afifa is not here." He jokes but soon realizes it wasn't the right thing to say. 

"I am sorry I didn't mean to touch that subject. But trust me Ana we are close. In days time Afifa will be with us again." He assures and I nod.

I head to Isra's room and find her studying. That's a wow actually.

"I know." I say simply. No greetings what so ever. I am mad at her more than I am at Miles. She went behind my back and also cheated her boyfriend who is head over heels in love with her. I remember talking to Hamza while Isra was dancing with Miles. Hamza was jealous but she will do this was something that probably never crossed his mind.

"Huh?"

"I know that you kissed Miles and honestly it makes me mad. You knew I like him. You knew he was to propose me. I helped you go with my crush on homecoming so that you can have more chances to win a stupid crown. I lied to Hamza so that you can enjoy without ruining your relationship with him and you do this? You cheated on him and you hurt me. And you don't even look guilty!"

She looks down while I leave slamming the door shut.

ASHER'S POV

After school as my friends go to practice I leave for gym as usual. Today I spend more time there. I don't realize I am doing this much exercise till the trainer comes and says that I must take some rest now. From gym to home, I realize I really over did.
