STUCK IN TIME

(XL) Book 2: Chapter 8- Meeting Ayana

When they gave me the control of the society and I realized the burden of my responsibility , I started with the work which primarily involved spying on the Seekers, because they were too ambitious those days and were having members from important posts making it imperative to keep ahead of them on every step.

Just after I came here uncle passed away and Hyder had been making deals with the The Seekers. For few years the seekers just kept looking for me then after being convinced of my death, (which involved a lot of pretending from our side) they went to Hyder and asked to search uncles books and writings. Based on the few unpublished works by uncle and my old writings they found out how I was able go achieve all of this. Developing on the same foundations they started a research facility and kept its major research work hidden. All of that took many years and till the time they hadn't realized that its not by practice but its gifted Ayana was safe. But after they got an understanding of how it is done, they were convinced that its not a normal person's work and only the ones with brilliant brains are able to achieve what I had achieved.

They formed a complete network and they kept record of every extra intelligent child below teenage. The abduct many and are working on them to achieve their goals. However, by  now they have realized that without will power you cant achieve something as simple as controlling your thoughts, let alone telepathy or time travel. But unfortunately other than that they got convinced that the trait was unique to me and might be inherited by my children. They first took Emir. He was starting college then when they took him. But after just two days they released him after being convinced that he is of no use to them.

I know all this because one of my subordinates work in their research facility and reports to me on everything they do. I sent a secret message through her to Emir while he was in there, to keep Ayana safe from them. She didn't give time to him go question her as to how she knows and why she is helping, which was good. I cant meet my children thats why I cant let them know that I am alive.

But I had been waiting for the day when Ayana would try to use her abilities. When she would realize and travel in time. I had practiced it enough times to take her away from time dimention and take her to a dream where I can interfere and meet her, talk to her, tell her everything without the fear of anyone ever finding out. Making her understand everything.

I had also prepared for the day when Hyder will actually get to her. They perform a brain activity test on every individual they capture. Then few IQ tests, and a lot more. I have people in Hyders lab who can interfere and give him fake reports about her. Because she is not only my daughter but also important for our cause. If seekers get to her, it will be the worse case scenario not only for her but also for me both as a mother and as a leader.

But they didn't abduct her because they found out its not her. They are convinced that its Afifa, which was a trap set by myself. However, they thought only Ayana can make Afifa cooperate. They took her there for Afifa only. 

I don't know what got into Hyder that he abducted her. I have plans for him never finding out about her, but no plan on how to get her out of here. But my subordinates working in his lab are sure that after he is convinced that Afifa isnt the one either he would let them both go.

But that is a temporary solution and made by a mother. I have made a perfect plan which os more permanent and by a leader rather tahn a mother, for the cause that we are after, but it will take time in its execution.

I have fabricated evidence that what the Seekers are after has been destroyed and no longer exists. I will make it so compelling that they will become divided. More then half would leave their side, believing that they are wasting their time and money on a fantasy, a myth, a lost cause. I will make them see that there are no such ancient secrets which theh are looking. Which isn't true because I am guarding them. But after I complete my mission I am sure for centuries no one will even think of trying to find what has to remain hidden.
