A/N: This is 'mini' special (fancy for super short lol). But I'm going to be updating a better chapter later.
Comment & VoteI never imagined being attracted to a woman before.
But then I met Leah. She was my saving grace and she smelled like sugar and flowers. She didn't know who I was before. She never knew perfect-Bailey. She met broken-Bailey and she liked it. To pain of losing Kyle was short lived--the embarrassment from being abandoned stuck. I understood how Puppy felt when he first came.
I didn't understand how he took Scott for granted however. I knew how lucky I was to have anyone interested in after my prior failure as a sub.
Many wouldn't understand why I was with her. But sexuality was a label--and love can't always be labeled.
"You okay?"
She was leaning in the doorway as I looked at Kingsley in the playpen. "Fine. How's Puppy?"
A look crossed her face. "He's hurting Bailey. And you know that."
"It's no excuse."
"And I agree with you on that. I have some more things to get done downstairs--why don't you come down and watch some TV?"
"I was going--"
"Nap. I know. But getting out of this room has helped you immensely so far. Don't let an argument ruin your progress." She approached and brushed her thumbs along me cheeks. "Besides, I need my smart and handsome boy to keep me company."
My face burned. "You're just saying that," I mumbled.
"Are you calling me a liar? I'd hate to have to punish you," she replied teasingly.
I sighed quietly in defeat and nodded. At the stairs I had the dizzying sense of fear hit me all over again. But Leah wrapped her arm comfortingly around my waist and supported my weight completely as we made our way slowly down the steps.
