Nialls Pov
I buried my face in my hands. I don't know what to do . I love Zayn and ill never let him go , for anyone. But at the same time Josh is my best mate, It kills me to see him this way.
Ed gave me a look that signalled for me to follow him. I sighed and stood up following him to the toilets.
"He- , Josh likes Zayn doesn't he?" Ed said as he looked to the ceiling.
"Yeah , and a lot at that." I said with my head hanging low.
" ... Well what're you gonna do about it. You usually get the birds (girls) before Josh. Why not let him have this one." Ed stated .
My head snapped and I looked at him like he was the most ignorant and idiotic person in the world.
"What do you mean'let him have him'. I don't think you understand ... I -I love this boy with everything that's in me and its not the type of love I had for Hannah or for Trisha , this isn't a fling. I'm truly , madly and deeply in love with him. He brings out the best and me and he's help me identify and fix the problems I've had. Yeah Josh is my mate but I love Zayn way more & I'm not about to throw it all away because Josh has some little crush on him and he won't grow up and move on. That's that's the cold truth" I said earnestly.
Ed looked at me with sad eyes.
"Yeah , I guess he is being over dramatic & ... I didn't know that you were this in love with him. Josh's my mate but ... I support your decision 100%." Ed said .
I smiled at him. I was so happy he was on my side. I think I've caught a good one and I'm keeping it.
Just as Ed pulled me in for a bro hug. Someone cleared there throat.
"Yeah , you're not gonna throw it all away to just a mate. I'm just a mate. You love Zayn waaay more , huh? We've been like brothers since preteens. But if course I'm just a mate.But it's alright that's what you're used to , using people to get what you want." Josh laughed evilly and sarcastically .
"Ed , ugh fucking fake hypocrite." He half laughed half screamed like a physco.
"Remember you told me to not to give up on trust after my old boyfriend beat on me constantly? I trust again and then BAM!" He exclaimed making us both jump.
"Thanks for the clarification." Josh said deeply and slowly as he shoulder chucked me out of the best friend.
Both of our mirrored the expression of regret.
"Don't worry , he'll come around." Ed said.
*Zayn
I'm home alone at the moment.
Nialls at work. Louis at work. Harold's god knows we're , Eds with family , Andys with ed and Josh well... It's been 3 weeks and not a soul has heard from Josh. I remember him being upset at the restaurant but then I never saw him after her left the loos to out the door. I've been left confused.
I'm currently lolly gagging around the house. I'm 3 months pregnant and it's not the best thing in the world.
Niall should be off soon.
"Yay cuddling." I screamed walking to the kitchen. I put an ice lolly (I had to look that up and omg ! Such a funny word for Popsicle) in my mouth.
*Ring*
The door bell rung loudly.
I put on my robe covering my naked body.
I swung it open expecting to see Niall.
Josh stood there with a sly smirk. I chocked on my ice lolly. He stepped in and pulled it slowly out of my mouth.
"Hey babe. Anyone here?" He spoke lowly.
"Uh ... no. B-but what happened to you?" I said in shock.
"Well ... I've been off on my own. Needed a break I guess." He said looking down. I felt like there was something I didn't know .
But like something told me to not ask. Hes kind of different , I don't really know ... I just feel strange
"I missed you so much , Lets sit!" I said dragging him to my room. Well my old room.
No Pov
Zayn was naive . He didn't know how much Josh had changed these past few weeks.
He'd heard Niall tell him the cold truth so that's exactly what he turned ... cold.
"You look well." Josh said slowly as he bit his lip.
Zayn rolled his eyes.
"I look like a fat pig." Zayn scoffed.
"If so you're the most beautiful fat pig I've ever seen, Let me see ." He said simply
Zayn shook his head but Josh gave him this look that captured his attention in a way that he didn't know if it was scary or not scary. It just had him under some spell.
Josh undid Zayns robe with a single finger making it split in half exposing his whole body.
He felt tiny under Josh's concentrated gaze.
Josh's eyes sparkled with something as he looked at his belly.
It was way bigger than Josh remembered.
He placed a warm hand on it rubbing it up and down.
Zayn shivered as Josh's hand rubbed inside his thigh and so close to his shaft .
Yes it was true , Josh was not just looking at Zayns belly. He was looking at that and then some.
"Zayn?!" Niall yelled through the house.
Josh kissed Zayns temple softly .
He slowly pulled up the window.
"Josh?" He whimpered out softly not even knowing why he'd said it.
"Zayn is that you ? Who're you talking to babe.
"H-h- I-it," Zayn stuttered
Josh put his finger up to his lips and looked at Zayn with mysterious eyes and shook his head. He had the same look he had earlier when he'd asked to see Zayns belly.
"Babe. Why'd you not answer?" Niall said as he walked into the room.
"H-he-." Said Zayn looking to the opened window but there was no one their. He'd disappeared into the darkening , late afternoon.
"What is it?" Niall said sitting beside Zayn.
He rubbed Zayns inner thigh just as Josh had done causing Zayn to jump.
"Zayn... you're worrying me." Niall said looking at him trying to find something .
"It's nothing , just tired." Zayn said and on cue a yawn made its way through Zayn.
"Why's the window open." Niall said with a worried face.
"It's winter." he continued.
"I was having hot flashes." He lied quietly.
Considering the fact that his robe was open it was a believable lie.
Niall nodded still looking at him trying to find any sign to why Zayn was acting so weirdly.
Zayn walked out of the room pulling his robe tight and curled in a ball underneath the covers as he fell asleep still leaving Niall confused .
