It's been two weeks since they arrived here.

Bahagya akong tumango. "Wag po kayo g mag-alala, I won't go too far."

"Sige."

It was clear and serene. She missed this. Being able to walk around without fearing that someone might hurt her, she missed it.. she missed this kind of feeling..

Nagpatuloy siya sa paglalakad. It was a good thing she's wearing one of the summer dresses Lily packed in her luggage, presko at magaan sa pakiramdam.

She took one and examined it.

She was contemplating on how she was going to eat it when a voice interrupted her thoughts.

"Want some help with that?"

Napalingon siya sa pinanggalingan ng boses, only ro find a man leaning against a tree not far away from her. He's wearing a gray shirt, its front tucked on his blue jeans just above its buttons. His arms crosed on his chest, so as his left leg over the other. He is quite attractive, she would give him that. His grin became wider when he noticed her looking at him longer than necessary.

"Still up with the help?" Muli nitong tanong.

He was regarding her with curiosity and amusement as his gaze lowered to the fruit on her hand. The side of his lips curled up into a smile.

He was oferring some help and no matter how suspiscious she's feeling about him, it is still quite rude to just ignore his presence and get along with her business so she muttered her thanks and started walking away.

"It's obvious you don't know how to eat it."

Despite him offering some help, she must admit.. this man could be quite irritating!

"I am sure I will find my way with it.."

"But it will be much more easier if I just show you, wouldn't it?"

She almost rolled her eyes. "I'm sure it would." She answered him dryly. Muli siyang tumalikod.

"You don't like me, do you?" He said, his eyes are twinkling with interest.

She raised a brow at him, "Why would I like someone I do not even know?"

He grinned. She thought it weird. She should be scared with that thought but to her surprise, she couldn't even feel any ounce of fear towards this man. Instinct na niya ang nagsasabing harmless ito.
