When I reached the bathroom, I slowly opened the door hoping that the rat or whatever it was wouldn't jump out at me. I didn't see anything at first, so I went through, closing the door behind me.

I pulled back the luxury shower curtains, and peered into the bathtub, finding nothing. I then pulled up the fluffy bright pink toilet cover and looked inside, still finding nothing. I put it back down, then went into a crouch and looked inside the bottom cabinets of the sink, and there it was!

I give a small shriek, pushing myself to where my back was on the wall. After a few moments I took a deep breath and crawled forward and looked inside again. I quickly found it hiding behind one of Margaret's huge shampoo bottles. Well it turns out it was just Mr. Whiskers, Dorothy's (the youngest of the Moore sisters) pet hamster.

I let out a breath that I didn't even know I was holding, in relief, and I reached over, picking him up.

"Aww, are you lost little guy?" I cooed, petting him softly, although if I was living in a cage in Dorothy's room I would want to escape to. I slowly stood up, careful not to drop him, opened the bathroom door, and walked over to her room.

When I got there, I opened the door as quietly as I could, finding a big lump of sheets on the bed which was most likely Dorothy still sleeping. I slowly opened the the cage door, and set him down as softly as possible on a pile of old newspapers. I took a look at his water and food bowls and made a mental note to feed and clean his cage later.

I creeped my way out the door, took a deep breath, and walked towards Mrs. Moore's bedroom to see what other horrendous assignment she would give me.

A few moments I was in front of her door, and gave a soft knock. A few moments later the door swung open, and there stood Mrs. Moore, an eyeliner pencil in her left hand.

"Good, you're here! Did you take care of that rat problem?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.

"Yes Ma'am, although it was just Miss Dorothy's hamster, which I put back in its cage, not waking Miss Dorothy of course." I tried standing as straight as possible while I answer but the second Mrs. Moore turned around I slouched a bit.

She gave her approval with the slight movement of her hand. Then beckoned me over to her closet. It looked as though a hurricane passed through it. Just an average day of choosing an outfit to wear.

"I want you to clean this up, and when you put the clothes back on the racks, make sure they are color coded. Can you do that?" Although she didn't seem to care if I could or not because she quickly walked away, probably to finish her makeup. I gave a big sigh and got to work.

I finally reached my front doorstep after a long day of work, and a cramped subway ride. I took out my keys from my purse, (which was one of Margaret's old ones that she said I could have when she got her new designer purse) put them through the lock, and stepped inside, pulling a half asleep Jules behind me.

The moment I entered into the kitchen the smell of baking bread came over me like a wave, and I saw Jules perk up a little bit from the smell as well. I saw Kathy currently stirring what looked to some sort of pasta, and I went over to give her a hello hug.

"Hey momma, whatcha doing?" I leaned over and saw that it was alfredo that she was stirring, and that the aroma that I had smelled was garlic bread that was in the oven. Jeff must have brought it from work (he works at a processing plant during the morning and afternoon so he brings frozen packets of food home all the time).

"Hey honey, just makin' some dinner. How was work today?" Jules and I groaned in unison and Kathy nodded, understanding what we meant, "Oh and by the way, a letter came for you Gabs (Gabs is my nickname), I put it on the table."
