I remember you Chapter 22

Anna's POV

The night was going great. Everyone was dancing and mingling and exchanging laughs. This wasnt a normal teenage party where people went upstairs with strangers and got busy and got drunk and grinded on eachother. No this was a more formal event and has been since Dean was a freshman and started this little party tradition and no one had the guts to ruin this. I was currently in the kitchen with Melody and Skylar drinking soda. There was alcoholic beverages being served but our men decided on drinking so someone had to be sober so we decided on that. "This is one hell of a party. I've never really gone to parties nor was I ever invited to one so this is quite fun for me" Skylar said with a happy smile before taking another sip of sprite from her cup. 

"The Woods always knew how to throw a party in the most respectful of ways obviously" Melody beamed happily as she admired her boyfriend's hard work at decorating the house. "Are you girls enjoying yourselves?" Chase asked as he entered the kitchen and wrapped a protective arm around Meldoy's waist and she sunk into him lovingly. I smiled at the scene. They looked so happy together and I watched as Chase looked down into Melody's blue eyes and kissed her lightly before looking at Sky and I for our answers. Sky sent him a glare but nonetheless was polite. "I'm enoying myself quite well thank you. You did a great job at this" she told him calmly and I noted to thank her later. Chase seemed surprsied at her sudden of attitude. 

"Was that a complement I hear?" Chase asked her in a teasing tone and Sky couldnt help but roll her eyes and groaned in pure annoyance. "It was one complement dont go getting a big head. Now if you excuse me, I'm off to find Sebastian" Sky said and left the kitchen but not after rudely bumping into Chase's shoulder. The one that Melody wasnt laying on. I sighed deeply. Well that moment quickly ended. "What about you Anna? Are you enjoying the party?" Chase asked me as if nothing happened. I smiled and nodded. "I'm having a great time. You really did a great job planning this out" I told him nicely and I took the time to look around the house for about the 10th time tonight.

He beamed a smile of self pride and kissed Melody on her cheek which caused her to blush and she turned more to him and planted a long, loving kiss on his lips which he happily returned. Knowing this was gonna get more physical, I excused myself out of the kitchen and quickly met eyes of my handsome man. He smiled at me from across the room and I quickly made my way over to him and once I was in arm's reach, he embraced me tightly.

He titled his head to kiss my temple and he made his way down to my neck and I happily didnt stop him, stretching my neck further for him to have more access. "Did I forget to mention how beautiful you look right now?" he whispered into my ear and I cupped his face with my hands and kissed his lips softly. "Once or twice" I teased and giggled as he took hold of my lips again.

"Dance with me?" he asked and I opened my eyes to see that he was already staring at me and I felt myself being pulled into his purple orbs and I smiled and nodded. He walked to my side and gestured for me to take hold of his arm and I gladly did, feeling like a princess at a ball. He lead us to the middle of the ballroom's dancefloor and everyone around us made a circle around us but continued to dance with their dates. I saw from the corner of my eye that Emily and Sabrina were dancing right beside us. They werent looking at us. They were staring intently into each other's eyes. I noticed in just that moment that Emily was taller by a few inches which was a advantage for Sabrina as she leaned forward and rested her head gently on Emily's chest with her eyes closed and a small smile on her face.

"My lady" I looked in the direction of Caleb's voice and saw that he bowed infront of me and held a hand out for me to take. I giggled at his action and took his hand in mine. He smiled and closed the small space between us. He placed a soft hand on the small of my back and I placed my left hand on his shoudler as my right one took hold of his hand. Then we started to do the waltz which was weird considering that the song playing was timber by pitbull and kesha and thats not really a slow song but I enjoyed that the fact that he didnt care.
