I remember you Chapter 27

Skylar's POV

We got back home at about 10:30 pm and with the stress and the surpirses and the tears we've all experienced, everyone was tired. I was the most tired and I felt sick to my stomach and all i wanted was night quil and Sebastian holding me while I slept. But I couldnt sleep. I couldnt knowing that Anna wouldnt be sleeping down the hall with Caleb.

"Babe, can you please explain how you know these people?" Sebastian asked tiredly as I held his hand to lead him and the others to the forest's clearing. "The night we came here, I wanted to go for a walk so Anna took me with Jacob. He kept barking at the trees and I got scared and wanted to go inside but Anna, being the more confident one, thought it was just trespassers and wanted to confront them so she ran into the trees" I explained softly, still walking.

"And you think a couple of trespassers are gonna help us?" Pierce asked groggily. we made to the clearing and I turned back to see him holding up Vanessa who was practically half asleep. "They arent trespassers. They are our protectors and they WILL help us. I dont think Pierce. I know" I told him confidently. "Sky if you're so sure then where are they? All I see is grass" Caleb told me. I groaned and looked to my sides and Cassandra and Ryan werent here.

"Oh dear god. Cassandra! Ryan!' I yelled into the air. When I got no reply, I wanted to curl into a ball and cry. Where are they? Why arent they here? Then my heart sped up at the next thought I had, did Chase get to them? No. He couldnt. There is no way he could beat off two huge wolves by himself.

"Babe, you're tired. You need some rest" Sebastian told me gently but I got the hint that he thought i was crazy. He went to grab my arm but I pulled away. "No! I'm not tired. I cant sleep knowing that Chase has Anna!" I yelled angrilly. "Skylar the only help we had, is dead. You're probably just delusion from lack of sleep. What do they look like?" Melody asked gently, not trying to hurt my feelings and get me mad. But I hesistated answering her question. I knew they werent gonna believe me but I have to tell them.

"Okay if I tell you guys, you need to keep a open mind about this. I know I'm not crazy and you guys need to trust me cause remember, this is my best friend we are talking about. I wouldnt get your hopes us for nothing" I told them nervously and hugged myself from the slight breeze that blew. They all fell silent so I took that as a sign to continue.

"When Anna went to find out who these trespassers were, she saw a wolf and we ran back to the house but Anna felt kind of attached to the animal so she made me go with her again while Caleb and Sebastian were sleeping and when we saw the wolf again,........well it kinda talked to us in our minds atleast and she said-"

"Hold up, you lost me at wolf talking. Wolves cant talk Skylar. Animals cant talk" Caleb interrupted me.

"I beg to differ Mr.Hill. I'm talking to you right now arent I?" Cassandra to spoke to us in our minds and I moaned in pleasure and relief that she was okay and she was here. Everyone, besides me, jumped at the sudden voice that wasnt produced vocally but mentally. I smiled in delight. "I must be going insane. Did anyone else here that voice?" Vanessa asked anxiously and grabbed onto Pierce's arm tighter.

Then Cassandra's beautiful white fur came into my side view and I beamed a smile her way. "Cassandra!" I exclaimed happily and ran to her. I wrapped my arms around her neck and squeezed her and she nuzzled herself into my neck, comfortably.

"Hello beautiful. Are you okay? Are you hurt?" Cassandra asked motherly and quickly walked around me in a circle to examine me. I smiled. "No I'm fine. Just tired and feeling alittle sick but nothing medicine cant fix" I assured her. "Thank god. I know about Anna and I know that that Chase is behind it" she told me and growled in anger as she walked to the middle of the clearing and sat down to look at everyone else who were too afraid to move.
