I remember you Chapter 17

Anna's POV

I was finally feeling so much better after being sick for a whole week and I can finally come to school. I had work that the girls would bring back for me from my teachers and Caleb was so nice as to all my work so I didnt have to so I can take my well neeeded rests and I couldnt thank him enough. I was dressed in khaki skinny jeans, a pink friily loose tank top that dipped low in the front with nice white wedged heels. I had my hair is down with a bow in the back with no make up on cause I was just too lazy. The most I had on was baby lips. I was at my locker when the scent of sweet berries hit me and I knew exactly who it was before they spoke. "Hi Melody" I smiled while picking up my physics textbook. "How did you know it was me?" she asked behind me. I closed my locker and turned to her. "Cause you wear the same perfume every day. I smelt berries a few minutes before you came" I laughed. She smiled and hugged me. "Where's Caleb?" she asked after looking around. "Went with Pierce to look at the soccer list to see if they made the team" I told her. Caleb and Pierce tried out the weekend of me being sick so I wasnt there to see them. "Oh right! I hope they make it. Pierce has been practicing so hard. Dont know why though seeing as him and Caleb have made the team for the past three years. I'm surprised they still have to try out" she said with no emotion while taking her phone out.

I nodded and we started walking towards our classroom. "Oh! Have you found a dress yet?" she asked me excitedly. I raised an eyebrow at her. "Why?" I asked her. "For the Woods' party! Its this saturday" she reminded me. My eyes grew wide and I went out a loud groan and hit my head gently with my book. "Oh my god. I forgot! I dont have a dress or shoes" I told her sadly. Being sick all week really does give you memory loss. Melody laughed and took a hold of my arm. "Its okay sweet cheeks. Emily, Sabrina, and I dont have dressed either. We were gonna go shopping today after school. Wanna tag along?" she wiggled her eyebrows at me at the last part which made me laugh.

"Of course but  I need money. But I hate asking Caleb I feel like I'm asking for too much. He's done so much for me" I told her as we walked into the classroom. Melody let out a deep sigh and took a hold of my face "you're his girlfriend and you're gaining your memories back. I think you're even. Thats all he ever wanted" she told me gently. I smiled and nodded. The bell rang and we took our sheets.

I walked into study hall with Melody and I immediately saw Caleb talking to a really pretty girl with strawberry blonde curly hair. He was smiling and she was laughing and I couldnt help but get insecure and jealous but I didnt act upon it. "Whose that?" Melody asked with disgust. "I dont know.......but she's pretty" I told her as we sat down. I kept my head low while Melody was talking to Emily about dress shopping. Caleb then sat next to me and gave me a quick peck on the lips. "Hey beautiful. Guess what?" he asked happily. I smiled back and answered what I already knew. "You made the team" I told him happily. He nodded his head and took me in for a hug. "I'm so excited. You get to see me in action every thursday and since Pierce and I are the best players we get to keep our jerseys this year and get a extra one for our girlfriends" he winked and kissed me. I giggled  and kissed him back.

"Um Caleb?" we looked up to see the same strawberry blonde girl looking at us awkwardly. I tried not to glare but it was so hard. "Yeah?" Caleb asked. "Um my mom said we have the whole week to do our assignment. On thusday you can even come over after the game. She doesnt mind" she explained kindly with a small smile. "Oh alright cool. Um Carmen, this is my girlfriend Anna Beth. Anna, this is Carmen" Caleb introduced us. She smiled at me and waved. "Nice to meet you" she said kindly. I smiled back. "Same to you" I replied. "Okay so just text me when you're on the way so I can set up the stuff and we can start" she told him before leaving.
