Caleb's POV

It's been four days. Four long, countless days in this forbidden hospital and I haven't left it since I first stepped foot in it. Skylar has had the heart to leave Anna's side to get me a change of clothes every day. My parents and Georgia have come to visit every day to see how Anna is but also to see how I'm holding up and to be honest with you, I wish the tables were turned and I was in that bed right now instead of her.

She was cold and immediately went into a coma the night she came in here and she hasn't woken up since and I have set security up to not let Chase inside cause God only knows the things I could do to that man right now. He's the reason she's in here. It's always his fault. I need to get back inside his house. Maybe he's not hiding anything in his house but his mothers is another story and no one knows where's she's been so it'll be easy to get in. She's a very kind woman. Doesn't have a bit of hate in her heart.

I've called Anna's parents and they've been restless. They can't travel up here due to their jobs but they make sure they call every hour on the hour to see how their daughter is. I just wish she'd wake up soon.

I was in the same chair I sat in since day 1 and Skylar was currently laying next to Anna, reading her a story. I think it's called the mortal instruments. It's one of Anna's favorites so she thought it would help bring her back.

"How is she?" I looked up to see Sabrina in her hospital gown. She could've been discharged sooner but the doctors want to make sure she didn't rupture anything with that stab wound. She wore the pink socks the hospital supplies and her hair was messy and pulled back into a pony tail.

"She's still not showing signs of waking up. The doctors think she'll last for weeks. Months even. They even suggest life support for her breathing but Caleb refuses" Skylar explained and sent a small glare my way before continuing the book.

Sabrina stared wide-eyed at me and walked towards me. "Are you insane? She needs that Caleb. Let the doctors do there job" she nagged. "Have you ever gone to the doctors feeling fresh as a daisy and they somehow manage to find something wrong with you?" I asked her tiredly. I'm not trying to argue. There is no time for arguing.

"Yes" she replied quietly. I nodded over to Anna and held her weak hand tighter. "Her breathing is fine. Hear her heart beat? It's at a normal pace and has been for the past four days. Now I don't want to argue. I don't want to say I'm smarter than a doctor cause I'm not. But as of right now, there is no need for life support when Anna can support herself just fine" I calmly explained.

"And fine is what she is" we all looked over at the door to see the most gorgeous woman, well after Anna, that I have ever seen. Her wavy ebony hair fell right above her butt and her dark tan skin made her seem Native American but her face and the small hint of a Spanish accent in her voice made you think she was Hispanic. Her bright golden eyes contrasted well with her..well everything and her small, full red lips were curved in a warming smile. She was in a nurse uniform so she was here to check up on Anna.

"I'm sorry to interrupt but I need to do the regular check up procedure" she explained. I nodded and helped Sky off the bed to allow the nurse full access of Anna. "What's your name? I haven't seen you around and I've met almost all the nurses" Skylar asked the woman politely.

The woman stiffened at the question but answered with confidence. "My name is Sophia. Sophia Goode. You must be Skylar. Anna's fiancé, Caleb and the famous Sabrina Woods. Nice to meet you all" she smiled and continued her routine.

"I'm sorry. Famous?" Sabrina asked skeptically. Sofia laughed and wrote something on her clipboard before speaking. "Your dad was popular with the nurses in this hospital before he passed young one. I'm not one of them obviously but the other woman seem to have fondly grew to him. He didn't do anything with them" Sofia said quickly seeing the uneasiness in Sabrina's face.
