I remember you Chapter 10

Chase's POV

As I walked through this cold building, my footsteps would echo. Coming here, I felt powerful because of what my brother and I did, gave us street cred. I'm not shocked that it didnt hit school. No one really knows what happened besides my family and this place. The judge thought it was too gory to allow other people to acknowledge it.

"Mr.Woods, welcome back. On time just as scheduled as always" Tyler, a regular cop at this time, said to me with a reluctant smile. I didnt return it. Instead I just nodded my head. "The Woods are never late and we keep our word" I simply stated strongly. Tyler nodded and sneaked a roll of the eyes as he opened the metal door for me. "I saw that" I sneaked to him as I entered the metal, bone-chilling cold room.

I sat at the metal table in the middle and after a minute, Gretchen, another cop, opened the opposite door and let in Dean who was of course handcuffed. His blonde wavy hair was messy and scruffy, he started growing a beard, and his piercing blue eyes never lost a shade.

When he saw me, he happily smiled and I returned it with no hesitation. I love my brother. We've been through a lot and we are very much alike. "As usual, 10 minutes" Gretchen told us before closing the door. Dean came and sat infront of me.

"Chase! My man! Havent seen you in a week. You should come more often bro, I miss you heaps" Dean said with a smile. I let out a tiny chuckle. "Wish I could man but judge's orders. Only every wednesday at 10 pm. Be happy that I atleast get to come after hours" I told him. He sighed heavily and nodded.

"So how are things? Update me" Dean told me. "Well I've found the love of my life but its complicated and Sabrina now lives with her and that douche" I simply said to him with annoyance, growling as the word 'douche' slipped out my mouth.

"Really? Who is she? Why did Sabrina leave? And who is this douche?" Dean asked interested. "Her name is Anna Beth. She's about 5'3 with long, curly brown hair, beautiful baby blue eyes that sparkle whenever she smiles, and her caramel skin is just the perfect complexion and her voice and her laugh and her attitude is just.....she's perfect Dean. Amazingly perfect. You'd love her" I babbled dreamingly, smiling like a complete idiot infront of my older brother.

Dean looked at me seriously. He looked almost pissed and frightened. "You mean Tess perfect?" He asked lowly. I was taken aback at his change of attitude. I raised an eyebrow at him questionably. "Yea. Now that I think about it. She makes me feel how Tess made you feel and I'm determined to get her the same way you got Tess. But she is in an arranged marriage with Caleb Hill. Him and his little posse hated me but Anna knew me as innocent and convinced them to like me. I'm reluctantly dating her friend Melody who is pretty much head over heels inlove with me just so I can get closer to her" I explained in rage. I hate that girl and everyone else. I want them all gone. I just want it to be just me and Anna. Together forever.

"Why did Sabrina leave?" Dean kept his serious tone and his face was looking more pissed as I went on. Whats wrong with him? "She figured out my plan and left. She wanted no part in it. You remember how she was during the Tess thing. She's was weak and still is" I told him.

"She was also 14 years old who was confused and was bullied constantly by us and Tess. She acted the way she did half because of us and the outcome she saw. We forced her. We put thoughts into her head that shouldnt have been there. She's not weak. She wasnt weak. She is kind hearted and I bet she still is. She hates me and wont visit me so I wouldnt know. Thank god she left. I wouldn't want her to go through that again. Dont do that to Anna Beth" Dean said to me with venom spilling out of his mouth with every word.

Hearing them brought the upmost rage in my body and I leaned over and punched my brother so hard, I think I broke my hand. I watched him groan in pain and hold his trapped hands to his face. How dare he say that to me?! He made the Tess thing happen. He was selfish back then. Cold hearted and brutal. All he wanted was her. Now, he's gone soft.
