I remember you Chapter 18

Anna's POV

"Look Anna!" Georgia raised her drawing up with a proud smile on her face. I was babysitting for the day since we had no school and Caleb and my parents went shoppping while Sebastian took Sky out for a tour. I smiled. "Its beautiful Gi. What did you draw?" I asked her. She placed it back on the table top and started pointing to each person she drew. "This blue boy is Caleb and he is holding your hand. See your pink. Then I'm here touching your big belly thats all rainbow cause I dont know if its a boy or a girl" she explained happily. I beamed a smile. I decided to test her intelligence. "Why do I have a big belly? You think I'm fat?" I asked with fake sadness. She giggled. "No silly. Mommy used to have a big belly when I was inside her. She has lots of pictures. She had a even bigger belly when Caleb was in her too. Thats where babies come from" she told me in her pixie like, high voice. My smile just kept getting bigger and bigger. "And how does the baby get in there?" I asked her. "Anna dont you nothing?! The stork comes and gives mommy a edible seed to swallow like a pill and after she swallows it, BOOM!" she yelled and motioned her arms to show a explosion. "There is a baby" she added. I bursted into laughter and I reached my arms out and she ran into them. 

I rubbed the top of her head gently and kissed it. "Oh Georgia dont get older okay? You need to stay young" I told her after I stopped my laughing. She giggled. "Okie dokie" she told me and went back to drawing. I stared at the 7 year old as she went back to drawing. I picked up her drawing of pregnant me and Caleb and I pinned it to our fridge with a magnet. I looked at the drawing of my big belly and I looked down at my flat one and placed a soft hand on it and sighed. "One day" I whispered to myself. Then I heard a loud knock at the door. I turned to leave the kitchen. "I'll be back Gi. Keep drawing" I told her before leaving.

I opened the front door to reveal a blonde hair, green eyed boy. I smiled and gave him a hug. "Hi Chase. What brings you here?" I asked him and moved to the side to let him in. "I was in the neighbor hood and though I could come say hi. Am I interrupting something?" he asked me. I shook my head. "Not at all. I'm just babysitting Caleb's sister, Georgia' I told him with a small smile while placing a strand of loose hair behind my ear.

As if on cue, Georgia skipped in with another drawing. "Look Anna! You're an angel" she exclaimed and she stopped next to me once she realized Chase was here and she looked pretty scared. But I'm guessing she was probably nervous to meet him again since the park incident. He smiled and knelt down and opened his arms for a hug. "Hi beautiful. Remember me?" he asked her happily and she just gave him a glare and turned around to hide behind my legs. "Gi?" I asked in surprise. Chase awkwardly let his arms go and stood back up. "Its okay. Probably doesnt like boys around her future sister-in-law" he hinted with a smirk and turned his head around me to look at Georgia. "Isnt that right?" he asked her jokingly.

"Yes. Now leave! You're a big meany pants and I hate you and I dont trust you. You're ugly and dont deserve to be Anna's friend!' she yelled angrilly and before I could stop her, she ran up the stairs but I knew which room she went into. "Georgia!" I yelled and started to make my way to the stairs when I heard  a door slam. I let out a frustrated sigh. What the hell is wrong with her? I sadly looked at Chase. "I'm sorry. I dont know what got into her" I told him honestly. He chuckled. "Its okay. Kids are very defensive. I get it" he told me and started to make his way out. "You dont have to leave" I told him as I followed him. "Its alrigtht Anna. I didnt plan on staying long. Just wanted to say hi. Oh before I go, do you guys have a basement?" he asked me. I raised an eyebrow. "Why?" I laughed. "I wanna buy Melody a new car but need a secret place to hold it" he explained happily with a smile. "Aww!" I gushed. "Stop. Dont make me blush" he told me with moving a hand through his blonde hair.

I took a hold of his hand and lead him behind the house to the backyard. "I cant believe you didnt see this when you and everyone else built the rose garden. Its right behind it actually" I told him as we walked through the circular garden to the wooden door that was in between the garden walls. "Caleb did most of the building. We just bought the stuff" he explained. I rolled my eyes. "Typical Caleb...well here it is. If you're gonna put a car in here, you better drive it carefully over the grass and around the garden to prevent tire tracks" I told him. It wasnt really a basement but it was a large steel building that could hold up to 10 cars. I've never been inside but seeing as there are no windows it must be pretty dark in there and cold. "Thanks Anna. Do you mind if I come back another day an check out the inside?" he asked. "No problem. Caleb and I have never been inside so we dont know whats its like" I told him. He nodded and we both walked back to my house.
