I remember you Chapter 21 part 2

Anna's POV

I winced in pain at every tug and brush Melody made to tame my curly hair. "Mel, ease up. You're killing her" Skylar begged as she looked at me while putting her dress on. It was a silk, ocean blue floor length, strapless. It was corseted at the top and flowy at the bottom. Her make up was blue eye shadow with a touch of glitter and black winged eye liner and the same red lipstick that Emily on. Her blonde hair was straightened and curled at the bottom and she had a sparkly blue barrette on the the right side of her head.

She looked gorgeous. "Can't have beauty without a little pain" Melody sang as she once again tugged a huge knot out of my head. "Anna since I love your curls so much, I'm going to put mouse in it and leave it at its wild stage. It'll bring out the make up I'm gonna put on you" Melody explained before taking my hand and leading me to bathroom and I couldn't believe my eyes.

The girl literally has a one person salon inside her already large bathroom. "Wow. Melody you must really enjoy doing this" I told her breathlessly as I sat in the wash hair chair or whatever you call the thing.

"I really do. I mean making people feel beautiful is honestly the greatest feeling ever. When my dad died, no one took it harder than my mom. Their moms were best friends and they were born around the same time so they became best friends and loved each other so much, they got together, got married and had us. She was a wreck. She thought she was the ugliest human being in this world. She even tried to commit suicide....." She explained sadly and took a moment to collect herself as she scratched the shampoo into my scalp.

My heart sunk and I let a small gasp out. I didn't know what to say so I waited. Melody let a few tears fall before wiping them away and putting a brave face back on again. "Thankfully, my dad installed this into my bathroom and I took her in. It was the first time after he died that I used it so it got emotional really fast. But I managed to work my magic and the smile that I put on that woman's face was worth it. She had the same glow that she had when he was around.

She was my mom again" she said happily and washed the shampoo out and began to rub in conditioner. I smiled at looked up her and she was looking at the picture across the room. I looked towards the direction and it was a framed picture of her,Emily, and Pierce with a couple who were obviously their parents.

Her mom had the same brown curly hair as Emily and the same blue eyes the triplets held. The man was blonde and had green eyes. They looked so happy.

"Sit up" Mel ordered and I felt a towel wrapped around my hair and I got up from the chair as she hand dried my hair all the way back to the chair of torture. She grabbed the mouse and pour some in her hand and began to rub it into my hair and scrunch my hair up to curl my curls. She repeated this action 5 times before cleaning her hands.

She then grabbed her make up bag and made her way infront of me. She did my concealer, then eyes, cheeks, and finished with my lips. She stepped back to examine me and smiled with approval. "Perfect. Now get dressed. It's 7. Chase would hate it if we're late and I still need to do me" she rushed me out of the chair and I quickly changed out of my clothes and into my dress.

"Sky!" I called out, keeping the dress close to me. Skylar fast walked into the room, holding a slice of pizza in her hand. I rolled my eyes. Leave it to Sky to eat a pizza in a very beautiful dress. "Yeah" she said with a mouth full of pizza. I turned around to face her and was about to ask for help when she gasped. "Just when I though you couldn't be any more gorgeous, Melody proved me wrong" she let out breathlessly. She stared at me wide eyed and mouth a gaped.

I blushed under her stare. "Thank you Sky but can you please zip me up?" I asked her pleadingly and turned my back for her. She stuffed the last bit of pizza in her mouth and and wiped her hands cleaned before walking over to me. She zipped my dress up and quickly grabbed my hand to take me to the mirror.

"You. Look. Stunning" she told me and pushed me to the floor length mirror and I had to take a double take because the person I found in the mirror couldn't have been me. My hair was curled to the max and it surrounded my face like a lion's mane and my make up was.....wow.

It was natural skin tone eyeshadow with glitter and thin winged eyeliner and my mascara volumized my eye lashes and they made my blue eyes looked like they were staring into your soul. My lips were painted in the reddest of red lipstick coated with matching red lip gloss and my cheek bones were highlighted so I looked like a model.

"Oh my glob. I look perfect. Melody deserves a award!" I exclaimed happily and Sky passed me my red heels to match my dress. "Come on. You need to eat a quick something before we leave. Put your shoes on" she told me and grabbed my purse and phone and walked out the room. I did what I was told and walked downstairs.

"Oh my god! Anna!" I heard multiple screams as I reached the bottom of the stairs. All the girls, except Sky who was currently making me a small meal in the kitchen, came running to me. They all looked gorgeous in their outfits. Even Vanessa with her cast but her dress was long enough to cover it. Her dress was black and she didn't want a lot of make up so Mel applied liquid eyeliner on her with mascara and under eyeliner with nude lipstick. Her hair was freshly dyed and curled and held up in a loose bun so the curls still flowed out.

I smiled at all of them. "Thank you. You all look fantastic. Mel is getting ready now" I told them and Sky came back and handed me a toasted turkey sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes and she put a side of strawberries next to it. It was a weird mix but I loved it. I smiled happily and hungrily stuffed my face.

I let out a satisfied moan after my first bite. "I've never been so happy in my life" I let out happily. The girls all laughed and I continued to eat til it was all gone. I took a cup of coke and when I was done, Mel came down the stairs.

"Okay girls it's 7:30. The party starts at 8 and we have 25 minutes to get there. The boys are all there so let's roll. I know I look gorgeous no need to compliment me. Just get in the car!" Melody yelled in a rush and we were all pushed out of the house and into her car.

She sped us to Chase's house within 15 minutes. Or should I say mansion. The place was huge! It was pale white and based on the old times. It looked beautiful. I saw the boys' cars in the drive way and I suddenly got butterflies in my stomach. I'm excited about his reaction to me.

We all got out the car and Vanessa was the only one who was trying to speed walk into the house but was obviously struggling. She refused to use crutches for the event and was gently not putting weight on her ankle. I jogged up to her and wrapped an arm around her waist to hold her up. She placed her arm around my neck to balance herself and gave me a thankful smile. "Thank you" she whispered and I smiled. "No problem. I'm excited too" I told her.

Melody went up and opened the front door for us to walk in. If outside didn't leave you speechless, then the inside was sure to win you over. It was lightly decorated in fairy lights and the title floors had glitter on them so the lights reflected on them well. There were fake gold flowers in every vase on every table and the staircase was wrapped in gold and white lights.

It was absolutely beautiful. "Babe! We're here!" Melody yelled and we followed her upstairs. Melody took a turn to the left and we followed her and started to hear a group of men yelling. I rolled my eyes as I recognized Caleb's. "What now?" I mumbled to myself and Melody quickly opened the door where the yelling was coming from. I expected to see Caleb pounding Chase in the face but instead I saw Caleb and Pierce holding ps3 controllers, aggressively pushing buttons and trying to distract the other and Chase and Sebastian were on both sides of them yelling at the other beat the other.

I looked at the game and they were playing injustice: home of the gods. The girls and I all bursted into laughter and that made the guys all stop and freeze and when they saw it was us, they continued what they were doing until eventually, Pierce won and him and Sebastian did a man shake. Caleb threw the controller on the ground and out his face in hands and I took the time to examine how he looked and if I must say, he was looking mighty fine in that suit.

I laughed and walked up to him and moved his arms so I could sit on his lap. He wrapped his arms around me and muffled a groan into into my side. I laughed at him and moved my hands into his hair.

"At least you won me" I told him with a beaming smile and that got him to pick me up bridal style and twirl me around. When he set me gently back on the ground, he kissed my lips passionately and I wrapped my arms around his neck to draw him closer.

He pulled away after a moment and kissed my neck. I closed my eyes and smiled in pleasure. "You're the only prize worth fighting for" he whispered in my ear. He pulled away from me to look me up and down and made me do a 360 turn and he whistled. "I'm gonna have to beat every guy's ass when they look at you. You look gorgeous babe" he told me happily. I blushed a deep red and kissed his cheek.

"You look like James Bond and that's really sexy" I whispered into his ear and he let his hands slide from the small of my back to my bum and he gave it a small squeeze before someone coughed loudly to get our attention. We quickly looked over and saw everyone with their dates and they all had the same bored smirk on their faces, except for Chase which isn't surprising.

"You guys have all night to be touchy feely but right now it's time to party and the guests...." Chase stopped for us to hear the numerous voices coming from outside "are waiting for this shin-ding to start. So let's go greet them" Chase told us and he turned to leave with Melody on his side as she intertwined her arm into his.

Caleb stood next to me and offered me his arm to hold. I giggled at wrapped my arm around his and he lead me to the staircase where you can see everyone pouring in from the front doors. They all looked around the house in awe at how magical the place looked and Chase and Melody smiled at everyone they greeted.

"Are you ready to party Ms.McQuire?" Caleb glanced at me as we descended down the stairs. I smiled at him. "Ready as I'll ever be Mr.Hill. But the real question is, can you handle me?" I asked and give him a seductive smile and a wink. He bit his bottom lip and leaned down into my ear.

"I think we've already proved the answer to that question" he whispered and kissed behind me ear on my neck.

"Touché" I told him and we were enveloped by guests surrounding us the minute we stepped foot on the bottom floor.
