Chapter 31

Baby shower...
Tony and I planned a baby shower and we can't wait to tell our guest/ the guys that we're having twins. The doctor said that, hopefully, I'll have the baby in a couple of weeks, Tony and I are really excited. We can't wait.
I wobbled down the stairs. These babies are too heavy for me to handle sometimes.  "Hey honey." I said as I hugged Tony from behind. "The guys and their family will be here any minute. Are you feeling okay?" I nodded, "Yeah I'm just exhausted. My back hurts, I just want these babies out of me." I chuckled. After a few minutes, the guys came. Mike's and Vic's, and Jaime's parents came. Jason's sister and brother came. "Hi I'm Lisa and this is my brother James." Jason's siblings greeted us. "Hi I'm Catherine and this is my husband, Tony." We shook hands.  "Do you guys want anything to drink?" I asked. The guys asked for beer and the others  a soda. "You want one honey?" I asked Tony. He nodded, "here you go." I handed him the beer, "thanks honey." I grabbed a water bottle. We all sat down and chatted. "So how's the baby treating you?" Vic's mom asked. I sighed, "Well it's hard to have two babies living inside of you." I said, smiling. "You're having twins!?" Jaime asked. They all had shocked faces, but Tony and I kept smiling. I nodded, "Yes. A boy and a girl." "What did I tell you Vic! You owe me 40 bucks!" Mike yelled as jumped off the couch. Vic rolled his eyes, "Whatever." Vic took out his wallet and handed Mike 40 bucks. "You guys bet on it?" Tony asked. I started laughing. "Well it was pretty obvious you guys were going to have twins." Mike mumbled. "Are you guys hungry? I made food." I asked. "Yes!" Jaime yelled, throwing his hands in the air. "I'm starving." We all got up and headed to the kitchen. The guys and their parents and Jason's siblings sat down while Tony and I served them. We were serving our last plate when the door bell ranged. "Did you invite someone else?" I asked Tony. He nodded his head, "No." Curiosity washed through my body. "I'll go check." I said. Tony followed behind me. I opened the door and I couldn't believe who it was. I thought I'd never see her again.
