Chapter 11

Day of the surgery
"Come on cat! We don't have all day, we're going to be late!" Mike yelled from downstairs. "O-Okay" I'm fuckin shitting bricks.
I quickly put on my shoes, "You're ready, honey?" I nodded my head, "Yeah." Tony held my hand and gave it a little squeeze, "It's going to be okay." I smiled. "Tony?" He stopped and looked at me. "Yeah?" I hugged him, "Thank you for supporting me and being there for me. I love you, Tony. So much." I buried my face into his chest. "It's my job, to protect you. I love you too." He placed his fingers under my chin and placed his soft lips on mine.

"Hi I'm here to get surgery.." I mumbled to the lady behind the counter. She smiled,
"What's your name?"
"Catherine Perry." She typed it in the computer, "Agh. Here you are. A cyst removal. Okay I need you to fill out these papers and we'll call you in a few minutes."
"Thank you." I walked back to where the guys were sitting and filled out the papers.

"Catherine Perry." Catherine got up, my heart was pounding. I was nervous too, but I need to support her. The guys and I followed Catherine. The nurse smiled, "Follow me please." We followed in silence. I heard Catherine gulp. Room 304. "Okay, change into this robe, put all your clothes in this plastic bag, and the doctor will be with you in a few minutes." We all chanted a 'thank you' as the nurse left. Catherine looked at the guys as she held the robe. "Oh. We'll turn around." The guys all turned around and looked towards the door. Catherine slowly stripped off her clothes and changed into the robe, "you guys can turn around." Catherine laid down on the bed, "Tony I'm scared." Me too. "It's going to be okay, the guys and I are going to be here when you wake up. Promise." I leaned down and kissed her forehead, the doctor came in. "Good morning Mrs. Perry," Catherine held my hand.
"Good morning."
"Okay we're going to move you into our surgery room right now." "How long is the surgery?" I asked. "You must be her husband" I nodded. "The surgery will be two hours long." I smiled. Nurses came in as they started to take Catherine. "You guys can wait in the waiting room and we'll call you when we're done with the surgery."
"Thanks doctor." I looked at Catherine, she smiled.
"See you later guys." She said as she did the rock sign. We chuckled, "See you later."
