...

Kageyama and Hinata sat inside the little bakery, staring out the large windows in front of them. They sat beside each other in silence.

"Hey, Kageyama... Are you going to leave again?"

"Well..." Kageyama trailed off. "I'm in a tight situation, but I'm gonna try to stay for as long as I can."

Hinata pouted.

Kageyama sighed to himself.

...

"You alone?"

"Yeah," Kageyama replied into his phone.

"I've got you a new job. This one will determine whether I keep being your manager or not. You're lucky I didn't drop you on the streets the minute you came back from America."

"Yeah."

"I'll send you the information now. The deadline is in two weeks. You'll be going back to Tokyo."

Then, Kageyama's manager hung up.

Kageyama sighed. He had to go on this trip.

He had to.

Kageyama sighed, running his hand through his hair. He was stressed.

To think one person changed his entire life within a month or two.

And now he had to leave this person again. During the holidays.

"I'll just have to make it back in time for Christmas Day," he muttered to himself.

I guess I'll leave in a few days, he thought.

...

"Kageyama! Kageyama, wake up! It's Saturday!"

"Ugh... Exactly, it's Saturday. Let's sleep in..." he muttered sleepily.

"But Kageyama!"

Kageyama checked the alarm clock on the nightstand next to his bed. 7:34 am.

"Hinata, it's not even eight yet. Come back when it's like nine..."

"Promise??"

"Yeah, sure..." he muttered, not thinking.

Hinata ran out of the guest room, not bothering to close the door back.

Kageyama groaned, falling back to sleep instantly.

An hour and a half later, Hinata was back and yelling at Kageyama to wake him up.

"Kageyama! Kageyama! Get up, it's nine! Let's go get breakfast!"

Kageyama groaned. "Give me ten minutes..."

"Ugh, fine," Hinata said, leaving again. He didn't close the door this time either.

Kageyama started changing, taking his t-shirt off to find one more suitable to wear for the day.

Kageyama then sensed Hinata very close by and turned his head towards the open door. Hinata was peeking through the doorway. As soon as Kageyama noticed him, Hinata blushed quickly and ran off, embarrassed.

Kageyama blushed as well. His shirt had been off the whole time.

Kageyama was surprised. Hinata wanted to watch him change?

Kageyama couldn't help but blush.

...

Hinata's POV

Agh! Hinata thought to himself.

Kageyama had such a good upper body! He had to have at least a six-pack. And his biceps!

Hinata sat on his bed, blushing furiously.

Why did he have to be in such good shape?

...

Regular POV

The walk to the town diner was awkward. Hinata wouldn't look Kageyama directly in the eyes.

They finally reached the diner without a single word being spoken the whole time.

They found a table and sat down.

"K-Kageyama... I'm sorry..."

Kageyama glanced up. "Sorry? About what?"

"W-when you were changing!"

"Oh... It's all right," Kageyama said quietly, blushing and avoiding eye contact with the smaller boy.

"D-did you like what you saw?" Kageyama said quietly. He immediately regretted it.

Hinata was shocked, but quickly replied, "y-yes!"

Hinata had to turn away to hide his red face from Kageyama. Kageyama did the same.

They were snapped out of their awkward moment when their waiter asked for drinks.

"What can I get you to two drink?" she asked politely.

"I'll have some orange juice!" Hinata said.

"I'll take a water and a coffee," Kageyama said back.

She wrote a few words on her notepad.

"And are you guys ready to order?"

Hinata ordered French toast while Kageyama ordered a waffle and bacon.

"Really?" Hinata asked.

"What?"

"Well, I thought you'd get something really healthy, because you're so awesome and stuff..." Hinata trailed off.

Kageyama blushed lightly. "Sometimes a day off is all right."

Hinata smiled and Kageyama's heart skipped a beat.

Finally, their food came.

...

Kageyama was leaving. He was sneaking out around 10pm and was going to ride the train all the way to Tokyo.

He felt awful, but he had to go.

Hinata was important, but so was his job as an assassin.

He slipped out the window and shut it tight, disappearing into the chilly night.

He found his way to the train station and hopped on the train. The entire way there, he felt guilty. Very, very guilty.

Kageyama got off the train and found himself the cheapest motel he could find. He fumbled around for his handgun. He wasn't using his rifle this time.

When he made sure he had it and knew where it was, he carefully hid it and went to bed.

His deadline was in a little less than two weeks, but judging by his target's job, it would take every second of this week and a half to perform the assassination perfectly.

Kageyama tried to shake the guilt of running off in the night away, but he couldn't.

As he fell into a rough sleep, all he could think about was what an awful thing he'd done.
