GOODNIGHT kisses, are probably Riley's favorite kiss of all besides a morning kiss. Because she knows who's she going to see last and will hopefully they'll be there in the morning.
As Riley and Lucas walk home to their little, but cozy apartment space, they talk.
One of the things that would never end between them, something that is between them, and them only.
Lucas was talking about when he was younger, going to Pappy Joe's ranch during the summer. 'Ridin' horses, and living on the wild-side', as Lucas described.
Riley was just looking at him with adoration and in complete awe. She had a smile that could light up the sky. And Lucas was just telling one of his silly stories to just get that smile.
"Well princess, we are home." Said Lucas as he opened the door for her. Riley smiled and put her coat on the coat rack.
"Let's get ready for bed, honey. My parents tired me out." Riley yawned.
Lucas chuckled, "Well, you weren't with your dad that entire time. Plus it felt like he stared at me with every move I made."
"That because he was." Riley looked back at him from the hallway and went into their bedroom.
Lucas follow behind and changed into his pajamas, which were just basketball shorts. And Riley changed into one of Lucas' shirts that reached her mid-thigh.
"Good night, honey." Said Riley.
"Good night, princess." Lucas said back to her with a goodnight kiss.
Riley smiled, knowing that he will be there in the morning. No matter what comes their way, they will do it together.
