Zillions of years ago, there was space, a dark, empty space that seemed to be lifeless. Until one day, a single foreign object entered the space, multiplying faster than the bacteria. It was called the dark energy. It multiplied as it filled the whole space and it grew overpopulated.
The space cannot carry the large population anymore and that resulted to the mass explosion, some remants survived and others didn't and every second, a new particle appears, a particle also fades away. These particles were now referred to as planets.
That was the rule, the balance, for every new being, another should be taken away.
Living things inhabited these particles, living things you cannot explain.
A civilization appears and one dissapears, that was the rule, everything abides by the rule.
For every planet, there was a different kind of specie, originally, all of them were the same for they all came from that single foreign object, but as they settled in the separate planets, and evolved into different species based on what kind of environment they have.
All species have the ability to cope and overtime, they evolve so their bodies would be suitable for the given environment maybe not now, but in their descendants. Who knows maybe it can also happen to your descendants in the future.
I would focus on my kind of specie. We resided in the Andromeda galaxy, as you call it, it was a perfect place for us for we evolved from our ancestors, and who are they? Basically all possible specie.
Not everyone of us evolved from apes, generally as time passed by, the other animals gained the power to transform into human forms, they were called shifters. They successfully obtained their human form, but the problem was, they didn't fully embrace their human forms for they still longed for their former lives.
But I wasn't one of those, I was made like this from the begining, my ancestors were the originals. I have the skin that could stand with both hot and cold environments, lungs that can inhale any gas, a body that could move even without the gravitational pull, you may call it gross or imagine those aliens that had large eyes and slimy body with bony fingers, but in reality, we looked like you.
We happily lived in a planet in Andromeda but the rule did its job, one day we just woke up and the planet was falling to pieces, that was the worst day of my life, even if I had witnessed a lot of molecules burst before, this one changed my life.
"What is happening?" She shouted as her body trembled in fear.
"The prophecy is happening, its spreading, it started from the north and now it's spreading faster than expected, we cannot stop it anymore, we have no choice, hope is all we have, and it is you." He replied as he escorted her to the ship.
"What? There must be other ways, like what we did in the last one, we managed to prolong it right?"
"This one is different, our best thinkers died from the last time and this time, we cannot think about other options."
"But how about the others? There must be other ways."
A large scream was heard as she entered the ship.
"You need to leave now!" He said, his voice failing as the ship stared to launch.
"No, I can't I won't leave you here, what about the future we promised together, the planet needs me, without me, the planet dies."
"No, we only have two choices, either you die now or you will leave the planet and take the others with you."
"But I vowed to do my responsibility, I would rather sacrifice my life for the planet, instead of running away."
"You don't understand, you are the life of this planet, without you, there is no planet and without you, the people will not be able to survive, you are the life."
"But I can't leave you here, the destruction will wipe out this planet!"
"Everything is destined to end, either you leave now and save the others or you too will end and life will never continue. Everything would be pointless if you die, not today, not this time. "
He closed the ship and silently prayed that he would see her again not in here, but in the next life he would be given.
"Farewell, my princess."
That was the end of another planet, she watched it fall infront of her eyes as she left the planet that was once her own, that was her life since she can't remember. Moving from planet to planet until one explodes after the other as if it never existed.
The ship left the planet and the explosion made the beautiful Andromeda galaxy we see today, no one ever wonders what happened there in the past.
The ship traveled and found a new place, this time it seemed to be younger than the last one for it has already established its own environment.
Their next destination was a planet, a planet she didn't know would change her world and the way she looks at things.
Planet earth.
