"What are you doing here?" Carl asked but she didn't listen, instead, she released me and glare at me.

"Who is she?" She asked pointing at me. "Why are you guys hugging each other?"

I knew it.

"Carl? Who is she?" I asked, but I can feel it and I just need yo confirm my suspicion.

"Well, she's Selene, a childhood friend." He answered and I saw Selene roll her eyes for a moment.

"Hi I'm Ally" I said extending my hand for a handshake, she hesitated for a moment but shook my hand.

"How do you know I'm here?" Carl asked.

"Well, I just asked your dad and told me you went to visit a friend, didn't know you were having your moment. Im sorry to interfere, I'm just surprised." She said with sarcasm and it's awkward.

"Well, uhmm..it's better if I leave you two to catch up here and I'll just go make some drinks--and Selene, whatever you're thinking right now, forget it." She looked confused for a moment then her eyes widened as I walked to the kitchen.

I came back with snacks in my hands and I saw Carl and Selene laughing happily and their eyes twinkled as they talked.

I didn't know but I felt jealous of them. I can't understand my feelings anymore.

I cleared my throat to make them notice my presence.

"I'll leave this to you, and Carl, you know where to find anything you need here. I really need to go somewhere." I said as I left the snacks in the table.

I changed my clothes and walked to the front door at the same time glancing at their direction.

"It's nice to meet you Selene." I waved and for the first time she smiled brightly. She had a wonderful smile that makes you feel a little lighter.

I left the house and started walking through the pavement. The cool air hit my face and I closed my eyes to feel the breeze touching my face.

I walked to the park and smiled when I saw the little boy playing with his dog.

He seemed to small and delicate, he reminds me of someone I've known from the past. A past I'll never have and someone I'll never be with again.

I immediately straightened up when I noticed something odd. The place hardly had people walking well in fact it's supposed to be crowded. The air was dense and I know that something isn't right.

I immediately snapped my head to the little boy and moved closer to him. He looked at me with the brightest eyes.

"Hey, where are your parents?"

"I downt hawv one." He answered.

"What?" Asked confused

"I ownly have my bwother." He said as he continued playing with his dog.
