"Brooke, will you marry me?"
It felt like time was frozen, like it was only us two in the room. I felt a few tears roll down my cheek in happiness.
"Well?" He asks with a smile.
"Yes! Yes! A thousand times yes!" I yell, jumping into his arms. I heard a bunch of "awe's" from the people around us.
"I love you." He whispers against my lips.
"I love you more." I say back, kissing him passionately. I pulled back and my lipstick had gotten all over his lips. I giggled then wiped it off.
"My lipstick is smeared now." I say, wiping it all off.
"Who cares? WE'RE GETTING MARRIED SOON!" He yells, picking me back up and spinning me around. He puts me back down, still holding me tightly.
"Come on, I have one more surprise." He grins, grabbing my hand and leading me out to the car.
"Where are we going?" I ask, hoping he would tell me.
"You really think I'm about to tell you?" He laughs.
"It was worth a shot." I shrug, leaning back in my seat.
"It won't be that long and I know you'll love it." He says, putting his hand on my thigh.
"Mhm, you are so lucky I love you."
A must've fallen asleep because Jacob was gently shaking me.
"Wake up; we're here." He smiles, taking my hand and helping me out the car. I blush at his sweetness.
I look ahead of me and see a beautiful sunset on the beach.
"Why are we here?" I ask.
"You'll see. Take off your shoes; you'll get sand in them." He says as we step onto the warm sand. I start running across the soft sand as Jacob follows behind me.
"You're so cute." He laughs, catching up with me. I yank him by his tie and make him run along side with me.
"Your brain is not stable." He says, catching his breath.
"I know, but you love me." I say, going on my tippy toes to kiss him.
"Yeah but you're still short." He teased.
"Shut up!" I yell. "Short girls do it best anyways."
"You got that right." He smirks, grabbing my ass.
"Save that for later, pervert." I say, smacking his hand away.
"I should be allowed to do that! I'm your fiancé." He groans.
"What do you want me to do? Stick my ass in your face and say 'here grab it!'?" I ask.
"I mean that would be kinda nice. Can we make that arrangement?" He asks.
"Ugh, Jacob!" I groan with a slight laugh.
"Okay, come on." He says, grabbing my hand. He led us to a large blanket with rose petals scattered all around it.
"Jake, what is all of this?" I ask in shock.
"Do you like it?"
"Oh, Jacob, of course I do!" I exclaim, running into his arms. "I love you so so much!" I smile against his chest, hugging him tighter.
"Anything for my princess." He says, kissing my forehead. "Are you gonna let me go now?" He laughs.
"No, I don't want to. I could hug you forever and never let go."
"Well then in that case..." he lifts me up into a bridal style and starts to bring me to the blanket.
He laid down next to me and I clung onto his side, never wanting to let go.
"Brooke?"
"Yeah?"
"You know that I love you so much?"
"Yeah." I laugh. "I love you too."
"Brooke, I love you so fucking much, I'd risk anything for you. I would kill a nigga for you again. I'll take you across the globe then do it again because I love you so much. I know I'm corny but I mean it. I swear you mean so much to me, if anything were to happen to you, I'd kill anyone to save you. Don't ever leave my side, baby. I need you more than anything else in the world. I love you." He says. A few tears slip down my face at his words.
"Jacob, you know that you have a piece of my heart and if you go, so will that piece. You're such an amazing boyfriend and soon-to-be husband. I couldn't ask for anything more. We had a few bumps in the road but we're on a smooth path. You're my whole heart, I don't know what I would ever do without you here." I smile as he wipes my tears away.
It might be corny to you but it came from the heart and it's all true. I do love him and I can't live without him. He makes me so happy.
I lay against his chest as we watch the sunset. I intertwined our fingers and slowly close my eyes and the sun set over the water.
