"So...he wants y'all to be friends and then like, fuck?" Alisha asked.
I told her about my conversation with Jacob.
"Yeah, pretty much." I said.
"So, you gon do it?" She asked.
"I don't know. You know I still like EJ." I sighed.
"Keep it on the low." She said. (lol I'm such a corny bitch)
"Ugh, I can't. He's sweet to me, it will break his heart."
"Well, I don't know what to tell you then." She shrugged.
"I'm gonna be honest. I'm starting to catch feelings for Jacob again. But I also really like EJ. I can't just lie and hide things from him." I said.
"Just do what you think is best." She said, going to her room.
I can't wait to move out of this apartment.
I couldn't sleep at all, I was too busy thinking about this whole situation. Jacob won't stop texting me. I know he's doing it on purpose to annoy me. EJ called me but I ignored it. I don't really wanna talk to anyone. I need alone time, time to think. Even away from Alisha.
The next morning, I was extremely tired since I got no sleep. Alisha had work which mean I get to stay home alone. Thank god.
I don't usually drink coffee but I needed it today.
I heard a knock on my door.
"Ughh." I groaned to myself as I got up to go to the door.
Surprise, guess who?
"Jacob, what are you doing here?" I sighed.
"I came to see you." He said.
"Yeah, no shit. Why?"
"I'm bored. Don't you enjoy my company?" He said with a pouty face.
"I do but..never mind. Now that your here, I wanna tell you something."
"Ooh, tell me." He said.
"Yes."
"Yes what?"
"Yes."
"Brooke, yes wha--ohhhh." He smirked.
"Dumbass." I mumbled as a yawn escaped my lips.
"Looks like someone didn't sleep well last night."
"Correction; I didn't sleep at all."
"And why is that?"
"I don't know why, it happens." I lied.
"Mhm." He said, staring at me. He could tell I was lying.
"Anyways...uh how is your day going?" I asked, switching the topic.
"Fine.." He trailed off, raising his brow. I laughed nervously as I felt my cheeks get hot.
"Are you okay? You're acting kinda funny." He said, pulling me closer to him, which made me more nervous.
"I'm fine." I said.
"Relax, baby." He said, holding onto my waist.
"I never said you call me that."
"Too bad." He smirked.
"Same old Jacob, huh?" I laughed.
"I never changed." He whispered, giving me chills.
