twenty-one

Ashton was back at work after a couple days of being off work. He served families and couples, cleaned up the tables and booths for the next customers to sit. He has been getting comfortable with public affection Luke gives him, but he isn't quite ready on telling the world that he's gay.

As he finished up cleaning the table and got the empty cups and plates in the tub, he went to the kitchen and had the dish washer clean the dishes. Today wasn't extremely packed since people are at school or work, in Ashton's opinion, it's great.

Nolan walks up to him, also not having anything to do since a couple of families are satisfied with their food and no new customers were entering the restaurant.

"So how's the Luke guy? I haven't heard much about him, are you two together?"he ask the dirty blonde.

"Yeah, we've been dating for a couple weeks now. Luke is a wonderful guy to be around."

"That's nice, I think I've only seen him once...and that was when he gave me the note."

"Tall lad with broad shoulders, blonde hair with blue eyes and a lip ring?"Ashton describe his boyfriend.

"That's the dude I remember."Nolan smile at the other teen.

Ashton couldn't help but smile when an image of Luke appeared in his head, that boy can make Ashton's day with just being there and smile. He still couldn't believe that Luke is with someone like him!

He then realised how weird it was that he changed his opinion about the dirty blonde. He still remembers hating Luke's guts for no good reason and despising his every move. It was weird that he judged Luke and thought he was cocky, but he didn't have good evidence to prove that point. I guessed he learned his lesson on easily judging people.

"Ashton, your lover is here."Nolan announced before going to a table to check up on the family.

That made the dirty blonde whip around and at the front of the restaurant stood the tall blonde. He quietly squeal but had to contain his excitement because he didn't want to disturb the customers nor embarrass himself.

He clear his throat as another one of his coworkers placed him in a booth and informed that the dirty blonde would be taking care of him.

"Hello, my name is Ashton and I will be your waiter for tonight. Would you like to start off with a fountain drink, iced tea, water, or beer?"he introduced himself as if Luke was any regular customer, he still has to act professional even if he's serving his friend or family.

"Uh yeah, a Pepsi would be nice."Luke smile up at the dirty blonde, he wasn't in the mood to drink.

Ashton wrote down the order before asking,"Are you going to be eating alone? Usually you eat here with Michael."

"No, my brother is coming, he just wanted me to get us a spot before it gets busy. Plus Michael is apparently with Calum."he respond.

"Oh my! I wonder what they're doing, but do you know what your brother wants to drink or should I ask when he gets here?"

"Get him Corona beer,"he shrug, knowing that beer brand is Jack's all time favourite.

"Alright, I'll be back with your drinks."Ashton smile at the blonde before heading and getting Luke's Pepsi and his brother the beer.

Suddenly he stopped in his spot, almost overflowing Luke's drink when he finally realised that he will see his brother. Possibly meet the guy! He quickly look around to see if there was a certain kind of reflection surface so he could look and see if he looks presentable enough.
