QUICK MESSAGE!
I graduated high school this year, and now I'm working part-time and taking classes at college... sort of, which means I don't really have time to write or update as often as I do right now. I only have up until chapter 16 ready at the moment, so make sure to add the story to your library so you know when I update! Also make sure to follow Niall, Olivia, Jake and Zara on Instagram for more updates. Their usernames are at the bottom of this chapter.
I hope you understand. This doesn't mean I'll leave you or stop writing. I always write as soon as I have a minute off xx

Previously in chapter 11:
"Yeah, you did break my heart. But I forgave you when we were at the football pitch a month ago."
He sighed again.
"You wanna be friends?"
I nodded.
"I don't know, Olivia. I mean we were never friends before, and honestly I don't know how to be friends with an ex."
A girl stopped next to me, waiting to order.
"Just so you know..." I started off, and paid for the muffins. "I'm not giving up on you."
Not this time
--------------------------------------
I sat down by the table and handed Chloe one of the muffins. She thanked me and took a bite right away. The blonde girl, who seemed to work here as well, came out from the back to clean off the tables. I couldn't help but look at her.
"She seems familiar." I said.
Chloe looked up to see whom I was talking about.
"Yeah, that's Savannah Jones. I have music history with her." She shrugged. "Barely goes to class though, and now I know why."
"Then she fits him perfectly." I muttered and tore my eyes away from her, and took a bite of my muffin.
"Liv, you're not jealous are you?"
"Why would I be jealous? He's my ex, he can do whatever or who ever he wants." I glanced at Niall behind the disk and he winked at the girl before she headed for the door with a coffee in her hand. "Besides, I have Marcus."
"And that's what concerns me." She said. "You have this extremely hot ex living close to you and you seem to bump into him rather often. Before you know it you'll find new excuses to see him. And you know you're going to fall for him all over again if you continue seeing him, right?"
I know
"Oh please." I rolled my eyes. "We're done, and there's no harm in hanging out with old friends."
"True, but old boyfriends? I don't know about that."
I decided to drop the subject and eat my muffin in silent. Eventually Chloe looked at the clock and realised we would be late for class if we didn't leave now. So she got up from her seat and grabbed her jacket. I took our plastic cups and went over to the nearest bin. Niall just happened to be standing close to it as well.
"When do you get off from work today?" I mumbled, slowly throwing the cups in the bin.
"Olivia..." He sighed.
