Previously in chapter 31:

"Olivia is more confident, less scared. She doesn't want a teenage love story anymore. What she wants is a mature relationship. Someone she can plan a future with." Casper said.

"So you're saying I should propose?"

He quickly shook his head.

"Don't be a boy and chase her. Be a man and woo her. Show her you're in for the long run."

"And how do I do that?" I asked.

"You know her just as well as I do. You'll figure it out."

Niall's point of view

Casper was right, so was Olivia. I needed to grow up. I needed to prove to her that I wanted this. I wanted her, us.

I sat there and talked to Casper for a while, just the two of us. I also waited for Olivia to come back from breakfast. It was our last day of the festival and I wanted to spend it with her.

About half an hour later, the rest joined us by the tents. Well, not everyone.

"Where are the others?" I asked, looking at Maddie.

"The funfair."

Jake wasn't with the group, so I assumed he was at the funfair. Zara, Olivia, Savannah and Kat were also missing.

Little Mix was playing sometime after noon, and I knew since earlier that Olivia liked them. It would probably make her happy if she got to see them, and I couldn't really complain either. I mean four really good-looking girls dancing and singing on stage.

I got up from my seat and started to walk towards the funfair. It would be kind of hard to find them, but at least I knew which area of the festival they were at.

When I got there, I decided to text Jake. He probably wouldn't see it, but it was worth a shot.

I walked around there for a while, looking for a familiar face. Then I bought something to eat in the nearest food stand.

"Niall!"

I looked up at the sound of someone calling my name. Jake was waving at me from a small rollercoaster nearby the food stand.

"Finally we're even numbers! Let's go on the Ferris wheel!" Savannah happily announced, before jogging over to me to grab my arm and drag me towards the Ferris wheel. I couldn't help but notice the look Olivia gave me.

And before I knew it, Savannah and I sat down in a small capsule with Jake and Zara in the one in front of us, and Olivia and Katelyn in the one behind us.

"So, I guess you're off the market again?" Savannah said to me, as the wheel started moving.

"I was never on the market." I mumbled.

"Oh right, you belonged to her all this time." She smiled.

"Always have and always will." I answered, glancing over my shoulder and down, in hope of seeing Olivia. "I hope you don't feel offended or some shit."

"Offended, no. Disappointed? Yes. But I like her, so it's cool."

"Maybe you can find someone who's actually interested in having a relationship with you. I mean you're a great girl, just not..." I trailed off.
