Early next morning, Cheryl woke up before her alarm had even gone off, largely due to the soaring temperature even at only 6.30 in the morning and also by the birds who seemed to be having a shouting match directly outside of her window. “Shut the hell up!” she thought to herself, throwing the sheets off her to try and cool down. After lying there for another 15 minutes, an extremely hot and bothered Cheryl climbed begrudgingly out of bed and wandered out towards the kitchen wearing a small lilac vest top and dark purple pyjama shorts, running her hands through her wavy hair, trying to tidy it up slightly.
“Cheryl...chez babe, I think this it...it’s the end of the world...they said it would happen in 2012 and we all thought it was a pile of crap...but we were wrong, and they were right...this is it, the earth is about to crash into the sun and we will all boil to death” Cheryl heard a voice groan quietly before spotting Lily spread eagle on the cool marble floor, looking like she'd been walking in the desert for about a month. Cheryl didn't even say anything, but bent down and crawled towards her before she herself collapsed onto the floor like a starfish.
After a minute or so, Cheryl finally spoke ”...Lily...Why's it so hot?...Can you not do anything about this?...You're meant to be my PA and I need God to turn the temperature down please...give him a ring or something.” Cheryl mumbled, hugging the floor before a shuffling sound made her turn her head the other way, spotting Gary dragging himself across the floor on his stomach towards them before stopping and lying flat against the cool, marble surface himself.
A couple of hours later, Cheryl, Lily and Gary were basking in the glory that was air conditioning in the dance studio. Nobody, not even Beth had arrived yet, but the villa didn't have the best air conditioning and so they'd decided to retreat to the cool studio.
“Last rehearsal day Chez, how de ya feel?” Gary asked his sister whilst slurping a Starbucks Frappuccino through a straw.
“I’m canny gutted to be honest...I would work with this team for ever if I could, I've loved it!” she replied sadly, stretching out so that she was ready to start straight away.
“Yeah it’s been a good laugh hasn't it?!...But they'll be coming over to do the performances n stuff with you won’t they?...so it’s not really the end!” Gary smiled, comfortingly.
“I don’t know yet...Tre said it all depends what his agent has already booked for him, and let’s face it, they're such talented dancers that they're bound to be booked up for someone else already!” Cheryl moaned. “But he did say he'd like to if he can, so hopefully...” Cheryl crossed her fingers.
“Tre will Chez” Lily smirked whilst tweeting on her phone.
“Why do you say that?” Cheryl asked, puzzled.
“I just know!” she smiled to herself whilst Cheryl continued with her stretches, none the wiser.
