Cheryl laughed hysterically as they wandered down the busy sidewalk, bustling with people as Tre sang Alicia Keys and Jay Z’s ‘Empire State of Mind’ at the top of his voice making others look at him, chuckling. “Tre ya clown, shut up!” Cheryl giggled uncontrollably as he continued “...CONCRETE JUNGLE WHERE DREAMS ARE MADE, OH, THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN’T DO!....” he sang loudly as Cheryl reached up and put her hand over his mouth, making him collapse into fits of laughter too.
“Hahaha...well if you can’t sing it as loud as you can here then where can you?!” he chuckled as Cheryl wiped the tears from her eyes, holding her ribs which were physically aching from laughing so hard.
“You’re crazy babe, seriously...that was so funny!” she giggled, holding his hand as they continued down the street, both of them smiling brightly. “Arghhh.... look!” she suddenly began pointing excitedly down the street, making Tre chuckle yet again.
“Haha...I was wondering when you’d finally spot it!” he smirked as she beamed up at him, her eyes sparkling. The world’s largest store, Macy’s had just came into view down the street and caught Cheryl’s attention immediately. “Come on then chezzle...get your shop on!” he grinned, guiding her across the street towards the huge department store which had a steady flow of people through the doors.
“Oh my God ...this is literally my version of heaven!” Cheryl’s eyes lit up as they walked inside. All she could see in front of her was a vast expanse of make-up and perfume counters which seemed to go on for miles, with smart and incredibly fashionable shop assistants offering free samples and helping customers with their purchases. The lights from the counters lit the entire floor and made everything look magical and dazzling as they made their way through, Cheryl not knowing where to start.
“Babe, you’d think you’d never been into a shop before!” Tre laughed as he watched her looking so stunned by everything around her.
“I hardly ever get to go into an actual shop Tre...I can’t even remember the last time I did actually! I always either just get sent stuff from designers who want me to wear their clothes, or I just get stuff off the internet cos I just get hassled when I go shopping in London or somewhere back home!” she explained as he smiled down at her, squeezing her hand affectionately.
“Right, well we better make the most of it then! ... I think women’s clothes start on the next floor and I’m pretty sure they carry on for a few floors after that!” he winked as she clapped her hands together and bounced up and down. “Haha ...come on dimples!”
Cheryl was absolutely in her element as she made her way around the store, looking through all sorts of different designer brands and picking things out to try on, loading them into Tre’s hands as she went. She was chatting nine to the dozen about what she could wear each and every outfit for and how when she was younger she would literally have to save for weeks and weeks just to buy one thing. “Right babe, my muscles are actually starting to tense cos of how much stuff I've got in my hands, should we go to the changing rooms?” Tre chuckled from behind the mound of clothes in his arms.
“What muscles?” Cheryl smirked before starting to giggle as Tre pouted back at her, trying to look unimpressed. “Haha!... only joking muscle man, yeah come on before I get carried away!” she winked as Tre shook his head, despairing.
Tre sat outside the changing room Cheryl had gone into and waited patiently as she tried on a load of clothes, frequently being passed the ones she had already tried and being told to put them in either a yes pile or no pile. “What do you think about this dress, babe? ...I like the front but I’m not sure about the back...” Cheryl suddenly pulled the curtain aside as Tre’s eyes instantly lit up, seeing her in a little scarlet coloured, one armed dress. “I mean it will look better with heels too!” she continued as Tre continued gazing at her.
