Cheryl was beside herself with excitement as she changed into another outfit in Tre’s bedroom. She put on a pretty, white, floaty top along with some little denim shorts and some wedges, carefully applying a fresh layer of lip gloss just as Tre wandered into the room to see if she was ready.
“Woo! Looking fresh baby!” he grinned, walking over to her as she smiled back through the mirror. He wrapped his arms around her from behind and lightly kissed her cheek as she continued putting on her lip gloss. “Are you ready to go?” he mumbled against her cheek.
“Yeah, all done!... I can’t believe you’re taking me to New York... this is like the most spontaneous, amazing thing ever!” she giggled as he shook his head, laughing softly.
“Haha ... babe did you not like look at a map or anything to see where New Jersey actually was before we came? ...New York is like next door!” he chuckled as she began laughing too, grabbing her bag off the bed.
“Why would I look at a map?... it’s not as if I was driving the plane was I?!” she cheekily replied as he burst out laughing more.
“Come on ya plonker, let’s go!” Tre sniggered, putting his arm around her shoulder, squeezing it affectionately as they walked back downstairs. “...Right, we’re going now, we’ll be out all day so don’t feel you need to stay up for us coming in mom” Tre announced as they popped into the kitchen to say goodbye.
“Aww ...you look so pretty sweetheart!” Tre’s grandma gushed as Cheryl smiled back.
“Thank you!” she replied politely, trying not to blush as she held Tre’s hand by the doorway.
“Have a great time guys...try not to spend too much!” Shirley jokingly pointed her finger at Cheryl who pretended to look shocked before winking, making Tre’s mom chuckle.
“Ok bambs lets go ...da, da, dada da...” Tre began singing ‘New York, New York’ making Cheryl giggle as they wandered back out, on their way to the train station.

“What are you up to?” Tre asked Cheryl as they sat on the train, noticing her smiling down at her phone as she texted someone.
“Haha ... Just trying to make Lily jealous! ...She loves New York!” Cheryl giggled as he shook his head, stroking the top of her arm lightly as he had his rested around her shoulder while she leaned into him.
<Well I haven’t had a headache since you've been away so....coincidence or not? Ooooo where? N hav u bin having a gud time, I haven’t heard from ya! Xxx> Cheryl smirked as she read Lily’s text. “Right Tre, pull an excited face!” she ordered as she held her phone out in front of them, putting their heads together and pulling animated faces as she took a picture.
She included the photo in her text as she replied <Only New York baby!!! Ridic excited!!!! I've been having the best time eva lils, Tre’s family have been so lovely and he is just the best guy in the entire world! xxx>
“Aww babes!” Tre smiled as he seen what she had put, nuzzling his nose against her cheek.
“Well you are the best guy in the entire world!” she giggled as he began repeatedly kissing her cheek and forehead, chuckling to himself.
“Love you chezzie!” he gushed, before settling his lips on hers and giving her a soft, tender kiss.
