Cheryl felt so miserable as she wandered down the corridor towards Lily’s room, she had already sent her a text to make sure she was up. She knocked on the door which Lily opened immediately, looking pretty rough herself after not getting back until the early hours of the morning. “God what’s up with your face?” Lily asked as Cheryl stormed past her and sat on the bed, still in a mood.
“*Ducking* Tre and Gary constantly taking the p!ss out of me all the time, that’s what!...Why do men always turn into complete dicks when they’re together eh?” she complained angrily, feeling the need to let out some steam as Lily joined her on the bed, her eyes wide as she wanted to know what had happened. “I mean Gary’s always a *Ducking* twat, but what’s Tre’s excuse?...he doesn't act like that when it’s just me and him together or when you’re with us or even at rehearsals and stuff when there's loads of us, it’s just when he’s with Gary...” Cheryl was speaking so fast that Lily was having to listen her hardest to be able to make out what she was actually saying and was just about to reply as Cheryl stopped for a second to breathe, however she quickly continued. “...they just always laugh right in my face for ages, I mean I can take a joke and I laugh with them at first cos I know they’re only taking the mick but they always go on for too *Ducking* long so I just end up sat there feeling like an idiot. I hate it!...and Tre knows I don’t like it, it’s like when you and Lisa were going on for ages about me and Tre that time and I started texting him in LA telling them how uncomfortable it makes me, so he knows I don’t like it but he still *Ducking* joins in with Gary anyway!”
“Whoa whoa whoa chez...calm down for a minute, you literally haven’t stopped for air for 5 minutes!” Lily quickly spoke up as soon as Cheryl stopped her rant for a second. As Cheryl quietened down they heard a knock at the door. “That’s probably Tre coming to say sorry!” Lily smiled as she wandered across the room.
“It better *Ducking* not be!...it will be my room service, I told him to tell the guy to bring it here instead” Cheryl grumbled, shuffling over to sit against the headboard whilst she watched Lily open the door and take the tray of breakfast from the hotel guy, as Cheryl had suspected.
“Here you go” Lily smiled, handing the breakfast over to Cheryl. “Have you got that out of your system now?” she asked as she pinched one of the grapes off the tray.
“It just irritates me that’s all...Ashley used to do that to me when his mates were around, constantly joking about Girls Aloud and the X factor all the time and I just have to stand there while they’re all laughing away...it’s not nice” she moaned as Lily put her arm around Cheryl’s shoulder.
“Aww babe...come on, you know Tre won’t have meant to upset you! He’ll be over there right now feeling awful about it and Gary’s just your annoying little brother, it’s natural for him” Lily tried comforting her friend, realising she was actually quite hurt by it as well as just being angry.
Cheryl rolled her eyes as she tucked into her breakfast, trying to not look bothered but she knew Tre would be beating himself up about it, she had seen it in his eyes just before she walked out. “Here, you can share this with me... you look rough as a badgers arse by the way!” Cheryl joked as Lily playfully punched her before taking a slice of toast and switching the TV on to try and distract Cheryl.
A couple of hours later, Lily wandered out of the bathroom having had a shower and found Cheryl still sat in her bed watching the TV, the most miserable expression on her face. “Right, that’s enough! Why are you still here?!” she shouted, giving Cheryl a slight heart attack as she had been sat in her own little world. “You’re sat their looking like an abandoned puppy and I just know Tre will be sat across the corridor looking exactly the same...probably worse actually!”
