The next morning, Shirley woke up well before the sleeping couple upstairs who were catching up with their jet lag and answered the door to Tre’s Grandmother who only lived down the street. “Morning Mom, come in...how are you this morning?” she greeted her mother who had come round as she did pretty much every morning for breakfast; Tre’s family were very close and he'd been practically brought up by his mom, grandmother and many aunties who lived in the area as his dad had left when he was quite young, not long after his little sister was born.

“Oh I’m not bad dear, where’s my lovely Grandson?” she smiled as she followed Shirley into the kitchen and sat at the table with a cup of coffee each.

“Ha, he’s still asleep! They had a long flight yesterday and Cheryl worked all day as well, poor girl!” she chuckled cheerfully.

“So she’s a nice girl then is she?...It’s great that she’s come over now mind, she can meet the rest of the clan tomorrow!” Shirley’s mom, Denise smiled as she ruffled Jake's head who had come to say hello.

“She’s an absolute darl! So sweet and friendly...and they are soooo cute together bless them! Tre adores her, I can tell” she grinned as Denise began laughing.

“Well you know what Tre’s like, he’ll be spoiling her rotten, he likes to be a little gentleman doesn't he?” she chuckled.

“Haha...yeah he does, we were talking about it last night. She thinks it’s funny, apparently she takes the mick out of him for it” Shirley laughed. “They’re a funny pair mind, constantly joking around and teasing each other; they’re like a couple of kids!”

Denise shook her head, smirking. “Bless, he deserves a nice girl, especially after the last one!” she rolled her eyes.

“Alright mom, don’t start about that, she wasn't that bad, it just didn't work out for them!” Tre’s mom stopped her before she started going on. “Don’t bring her up, he’s moved on.”

“Well I always knew Walter was too good for her!” Denise quickly added as Shirley raised an eyebrow at her as a warning.

“Well Cheryl is lovely so I think you'll approve!...she is absolutely stunning as well mom, honestly, she's got the most beautiful eyes!” she gushed as Denise smiled back.

“Well I’m staying until they come down, I want to meet her!” Tre’s grandmother chuckled as they continued drinking their coffee.

Upstairs, Cheryl gradually began waking up as the room was starting to get too warm from the heat rising outside. She was immediately faced with Tre’s bare, toned chest straight in front of her as they had remained snuggled up throughout the night, making her smile to herself. She still was holding his hand in between them and could feel his head rested on top of hers, making her feel so warm and safe. She softly kissed across his chest, giggling as he began waking up and felt him kiss her forehead. “Hmm...morning Bambi!” he groaned as he brought his head down to rest on the pillow beside her, meeting her chocolate brown eyes which were already brightly gazing at him.

“Morning” she smiled back, leaning in to tenderly kiss his lips, feeling him gently rub her hand with his thumb. “That was such a nice sleep, I feel really awake this morning!”

“Haha...me too...you look stunning already” he chuckled as she pouted back, shaking her head.

“Now you’re just being stupid...of course I don’t. Can I have shower?” she smirked, secretly loving his cute little compliments.

“You do...you always do!” he giggled, nuzzling her nose with his own. “And yeah, go for it...take them towels on the drawers there” he pointed over to them as she quickly kissed his cheek and climbed out of bed.
