You woke up slowly, crawling into consciousness from a serene sleep, you were just about to turn over till you heard-

TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!

You heard a loud sound blow in your ear causing you to sit up quickly with your hand over your chest. You looked up to see your roommate standing over you with a blow horn in her hand. 

"Reflex check," Soi-Fon stated.

"Seriously Soi-Fon..." you mumbled wiping the tiredness from your eyes. You were about to lay back down till she blew the horn again. "OK, I'm up," you said rolling out and bed and barely standing up.

"Good," she smirked before walking out the room.

"I need a new roommate..." you sighed.

You got dressed and walked to your early morning class, which just so happen to be history 101. You didn't know you had history so early in the morning, but at least your cousin was in there with you. You walked into the lecture style class room, and took a seat near the front.

"{NAME}!" Rangiku squeaked from behind you, she was further in the back and waved her hand for you to come up there. "Don't sit in the front all by yourself, come sit with us." You smiled and grabbed your things and took a seat next to Rangiku and her friend.

"{NAME} this is Kira, Kira this is my cousin," she introduced you to the blond hair male sitting next to her.

"Nice to meet you," you said with a half-wave.

"You too," he nodded.

"Soooooo," Rangiku begin, and you could already tell where this was going. "Do you have a boyfriend yet?"

You sighed. "Rangiku I only been here for a few days, why would I have a boyfriend already?"

"Because you're my beautiful, sexy, hot, cousin of course," she said using more adjectives than needed. You could tell Kira was a little uncomfortable with the conversation.

"No, I'm still single and its going to remain that way," you said.

"We shall see..." your cousin said with a smile.

You rolled you eyes and looked around the classroom, your gaze fell upon a girl sitting a few seat ahead of you. She was the same girl from yesterday Kaien was talking to.

She looked like she had been crying again, and a part of you felt sorry for her.

"Aww poor Miyako, Rukia told me Kaien broke up with her yesterday," Rangiku said referring to the girl. "She really loved Kaien, but she just so motherly and always smother the poor boy."

You didn't mention anything  last night, you just kept your mouth close. The last thing you needed was a rumor going around saying you were trying to go after Kaien. And you knew Rangiku would take it and run with it. 

The instructor finally walked in, with his briefcase. He was rather tall, with reddish hair and two line marks under his eyes. Rangiku introduce him as the sexy hunk Mr. Kano. You just thought it was better and safer to call him Mr. Kano.

The class was everything you expected it to be.

Boring.

Rangiku had fallen asleep along with half of the class, Kira was reading a book, and even you caught yourself nodding asleep a few times. He went on talking about the founding of the soul academy, you tried taking notes but you ended up doodling over most of it. You thank the soul king when you heard the bell ringed.

"That was fun..." Rangiku said with a yawn.

"You were sleep through the whole thing," you said dryly.
