Wala akong maalala, and that should be a bad thing. Except, I woke up in my hotel room, may suot akong damit, and I don't smell like shit. My head doesn't feel that heavy either. I know I drank a lot last night, at kung anu-ano pa iyon. I was ready to feel dead the next day, when I realized I was on the brink of blacking out. Instead, I woke up like it's another ordinary morning of sleeping in.

I looked for my phone on the side table habang pinasadahan ko ang aking buhok. It was still 9 in the morning, but my notifications were already blowing up. Most probably because of last night's party. A lot of pictures were taken and uploaded, at dala ng kalasingan I know I did a lot of things too. Binuksan ko 'yong bagong groupchat namin on imessage. Mukhang kagabi lang din ito ginawa nina Miel.

Wala sa sarili ko naman binasa ang pinag-uusapan nila. Si Kiana lang yata 'yong hindi nakisali. Sobrang lasing yata kagabi. I was about to close the app para maligo, noong nag-notify nanaman 'yon. Grabe? Are they online all the time? Natutulog pa ba ang mga 'to?

Hindi pa ako nakakapag-tipa ng sagot ay bigla nang nag-ring ang phone ko. Number ni Emma ang nasa Caller ID, pero alam kong conference call na 'yon nilang lahat.

"We're at The B Hotel, girl! Where are you!"

Halos mapalatak ako sa tinis ng boses ni Kiana sa kabilang linya. Akala mo naman hindi humagulhol ng sobra kagabi!

"I just woke up," sabi ko nang natatawa habang bumababa mula sa kama. "I'll be there in 30. Wait for me."

"Okay! Hurry!" At binabaan na niya ako ng tawag. Dali naman akong nagtungo sa banyo to take a quick shower. I felt clean, kaya hindi na ako nagbother na magbody scrub despite not taking a shower before I slept.

I changed into a pastel pink strapless bikini top at puting thong na bikini bottom. I looked at myself in the mirror. I had my Brazillian wax maintenance every once a month, to be this beach ready. Still, I wore a long sleeved romper for cover-up. Since they're eating breakfast at the hotel that I'm staying in, I had time to blow-dry my hair and do my make-up. Presentable akong bumaba sa banquet hall kung nasaan sila, with less than an hour to enjoy my complimentary buffet breakfast.
