Fab 5 reached college & practised for some time. About an hour later, when their practise got over Mukti said,
Mukti: Aliya... I m going down to look for Nandini... She hasn't shown up from this morning, U coming??
Aliya: Yeah I-
Cabir: Guys.. Nandini's not here today!! She's resting at home.
Cabir told them all about her injury & fever & Mukti turned towards Manik.
Mukti: Bhai... U knew about it & still u didn't mention it to me... I would hv gone to meet her last night.
Manik: Yeah, Sorry Mukti but I forgot due to-
Mukti: Work!! I knew it...
All of them sat down when Manik picked out his phone & said,
Manik: Guys I'll just be back, I need to make an important call.
He got out of the room & called her. Nandini picked it up & Manik straightly asked,
Manik: Nandini, u r f9... Right?? U need something?? Should I come??
Nandini: Manik... Relax!! I m f9..
Manik: U sure?
Nandini: Yes manik...
Manik: Achcha did u eat anything.
Nandini: Yes & before u ask,.... I m following all ur rules.
Manik smiled at it & then asked,
Manik: So what r u doing??
Nandini: Nothing, just watching TV...
Just then Nandini realised something & asked,
Nandini: Manik, did u tell Fab5 about us....
Manik: Ohh Shit!! I forgot...
Nandini: Manik... U don't worry about me, I m f9!! U go & tell them otherwise later they'll feel hurt
Manik: U r right!! Chalo Bye, take care of urself..
Nandini: I will...
Manik: Love u...
Nandini: Love u too.. Now go!!
Manik disconnected the call & went back to the Music room. He joined the others & again & again was trying how to take up the topic. He tried a lot but failed, Cabir could see him nervous so he asked slowly,
Cabir: Manik what happened, u don't look fine!!
Manik: Yr I want to tell them, but I don't know how should I?? I just wish, I would hv been so nice if Nandini would hv been here...
Cabir laughed a little at it & said,
Cabir: Wah Manik baba... Abhi se hi itna dependence.... Kya baat h!!
Manik: Cabir yr shop mocking... This is serious, I need to tell them...
Mukti: Yeh tum dono kya pakka rahe ho akele akele...
Manik: Nothing just like that...
Manik looked at Cabir & Cabir thought for a minute & then said,
Cabir: Guys.... Lets go to nandu'd place, she has got hurt so she is sitting there alone & getting bored, lets go we'll hv some fun..
Manik looked at him & understood that he had got some idea...
Mukti: Cool... Lets go, vese bhi I was thinking to go n meet her.
Aliya: Yeah lets go...
Cabir: Manik... U r coming right!!
Manik was almost about to say yes, when but when he started,
Manik: I-
Mukti: No bhai... I don't wanna hear anything!! U r coming & thats final.
Manik smiled at her & said,
Manik: Now how can I say no to my dear sister.
All of them smiled & started moving out to go to Nandini's place when Cabir whispered to Manik.
Cabir: For ur dear sister or for my dearest sister??
Manik laughed at it & both of them followed the others. All of them reached Nandini's place & Cabir asked the servant,
Cabir: Kaka, Nandini's in her room right?
Servant: Yes sir!!
Cabir: Ohk... Arrange snacks & drinks for everyone.
Servant: As ur order sir!!
Cabir turned towards the others & said,
Cabir: U all sit, I'll just go up & bring her.
All of them nodded except Manik. Cabir turned around & was about to go when he said,
Cabir: Manik... Can u plz help me out!! Nandini can't walk & I hv a back ache... So can u??
Manik: Ohh Sure!!
Manik got up happily & both of them moved up. Manik moved towards her room, followed by Cabir. He opened the door of Nandini's room & what caught him stuck was the same scene which they had seen earlier as well. Nandini sitting in the middle of the bed surrounded with files & her laptop on her lap, spectacles on her eyes. She heard the door flung open & looked up.
Nandini: Manik.... Cabir!!
Manik: U r never gonna change right??
Manik said as they moved in.
Nandini: manik.... It was a very important thing so I had to take it up.. I m sorry!! I m just done with it & was looking over by other stuff-
Manik: Shut up Nandini!!
Manik said sternly.
Nandini: But how come u both r here so early??
Nandini changed the topic immediately. Manik didn't reply to her & turned towards Cabir who said,
Cabir: Woh Manik wasn't able to tell them about u two... So I suggested them all to come here, and then u both can tell them together...
Nandini turned towards Manik & said,
Nandini: So chalo na.... Lets go, they must be waiting na...
Nandini streached both her hands towards Manik, asking him to pick her up. Manik slowly moved closer & picked her up, but still didn't say anything. Manik moved towards the door, followed by Cabir. He was about to get out of the room when Nandini suddenly said,
Nandini: STOP!!
Manik looked towards her & she simply cupped his face,
Nandini: Manik, ese muh phula ke chaloge kya?? What will ur frndzz say, "abhi se fights start!!".....
She rested her head on his chest & tightened her grip around his neck & then said,
Nandini: Sorry manik... I promise, now I won't work till u permit, pakka...
She lifted her head & kissed his cheek, making him smile at her cuteness.... Just then Cabir came forward
Cabir: If u hv forgotten I m also here... vese nandu tune Manik ka gussa kam karna bahut jaldi seekh liya... Good Job yr!!
Both Manik & Nandini smiled at it & Manik moved forward. Nandini loosened his grip around him & he moved down. All the others saw them & said,"Hey Nandini!!". Nandini greeted them as Manik made her comfortable & he too sat next to her.
Mukti: Nandini, how is ur fever?
Nandini: Ohh Its f9... I just want this leg tp recover soon now..
Dhruv: Ya... By the way why r u wearing these specks...
Nandini realised it & immediately removed them, but before she could say anything Manik said,
Manik: Madam was sitting up there & working!!
Aliya: nandini, How can u do so?? U should take care of urself na..
Nandini: Sorry Sorry Guys... Already I hv got a nice lecture up there now plz not again...
All of them laughed at it & Cabir said,
Cabir: Come on guys... Lets play something today!! What about some truth & dare....
Manik & Nandini immediately knew that this had something to do with them & looked at each other, when Mukti said,
Mukti: Good idea cabir!! Lets play... Vese bhi it has been a long time we havn't shared nasty things...
Cabir got the bottle & they settled down in a circle. Manik & nandini were ready as they knew that it was time that they were about to spill the beans that they had been hiding till now!!
