I just couldn't believe it.

"You're so lucky!" Mack squealed.

I shoved my stuff inside my locker then turned around to face her. "Explain exactly how I am lucky?" I don't see how I'm lucky when it's going around school that I slept with Mack's brother but also Levi. It didn't even happen!

"Some people have to try real hard to get attention yet you don't have to do shit," she explained.

"I still don't see how any of this is a good thing." I huffed. If any of this get's to Jake and Carol I don't know what's gonna happen. I don't even want to think about what will happen because either way it's going to be bad. I'm either gonna be sent away again or grounded. Wait--- I guess I wouldn't mind the being grounded part. At least then I'd stay here and I wouldn't have to go to some stupid party again. Wouldn't be the worst thing to ever happen.

"By the end of the day everyone's going to know." Mack cocked her head to the side.

"Know what?" I asked, "That I'm apparently a slut who slept with two guys in less than 3 hrs?"

Mack nodded.

"It's not the truth." Sure I left with Levi and we hung out for a bit but clothes remained on. Since when does the saying 'hang out' mean anything to do with sex?

"I know that."

"Yea, well you and me both..." I tell her

"Derek laughed it off when he heard," she said, grinning.

"As should everyone else." Clearly others need a bit more convincing.

"I haven't seen Levi around so I wouldn't know how he's taking it.."

"I'm sure he finds it funny too." He knows what really happened when we hung out so he should laugh it off...Right? Hopefully he isn't mad or anything..

"Amber didn't find it so funny," Mack says. "She's actually looking for you."

"Levi's ex- Amber?"

Mack stared at me for a moment, then nodded. "Yea."

"The petite blonde?" I asked for clarification. There were too many girls who attached themselves to him like a bloody leech.

"That's the one."

"She needs to try harder to find me then." I laughed once. There wasn't anything to worry about when Amber and I would talk face to face. If worse comes to worse, I could take her. "I'm not worrying about it," I tell Mack.

"She'll probably just ask you if you fucked him point blank."

Hopefully she'll start the conversation without asking out of the blue that.. At least make it a bit pleasant beforehand.

"She's still crazy about him."

"Oh I know, she doesn't hide it very well." That was the honest truth. The girl looks at Levi like she's searching deep into his soul. She stares at him so intensely it's freaky.

"She even planned his birthday party last year."

"Really?" I raised an brow. You know the girl isn't over a guy when she organized his entire birthday party. It's one thing to attend an ex's party, no big deal, but to organize the whole shebang, you know you're missing something. It would be like texting him all the time, where is the fuckin' distance?

"She's big on bumping into him at places she knows he's always at too."

"That's actually sad," I thought to myself. Must have been a breakup she didn't want. That or she was the one to call it quits then regretted it later.
