Dear Journal,

The weekend came and went. I spent my Friday night in the backseat of Derek's car. And no, I don't mean in the scantily kind of way. There will be no 'rated r' disclaimer included in today's journal.

Mack told me that in Langley there is a Drive In movie place and she wanted to go watch that movie Despicable Me 2. Since we both can't drive we had to bribe Derek to take us in his car. Mack had to promise him that she would do his laundry for a month and give him 20 bucks for his pain and suffering. I tried to tell Mack it wouldn't be worth it. Hell, we could have seen 2 movies in the actual theatre for the price we had to pay but she didn't  change her mind. She was all gung-ho to see the movie in a crammed lil car. A car that smelt like piss and lots of it. She should have really demanded some money back for our own pain and suffering.

Saturday and Sunday I spent with Jake and Carol. Carol had a big bakery order to fill and her entire staff was suspiciously out with the flu so Jake and I had to step in. I bet her staff faked sick just to get out of it. We spent two whole days getting the order prepared and ready. We had to make well over 600 cupcakes then decorate them by hand with multicolored icing. I still don't know who would need that many cupcakes. Maybe there was some circus convention in town.

I don't want to be near a cupcake ever again. Ever.

Since my study night with Levi, I haven't heard from him. It's back to where it was before. I'm non-existant and its unfortunate. Not gonna get down cuz of it though. His loss. He's a coward. A kissing coward.

Monday at Lunch I met Mack in Mr. Richards Art class. Normally empty at this hour, Mack and I wanted to eat lunch there. Well......while I eat, Mack was going to finish up her math cuz she doesn't want to get called out on for not doing the work by her teacher again.And---she didn't want to have to stay everyday after school to make sure she completed her homework either.

We could have gone to the library but it's alot busier and louder then would be in here.

I jumped onto a desk and pulled out my brown lunch bag. I pulled out my peanut butter sandwich and took it out of the wrapping.

Mack slammed her binder onto the desk top and let out an agonizing groan. "Can't believe I'm wasting my lunch doing this shit."

"You wouldn't have to if you just finished your homework after school." I took a bite of my sandwich.

"Yea right," she said with a smug smile. "Too distracted at home."

"Why?"

"Derek has people over everyday after school. It's loud and-" she shrugged, "Some of them are kinda cute."

"That's the worst."

"Well yea," Mack grumbled. "Can't get shit done."

"Why not go to the library or something?" I asked. "You might actually get something done there."

"I don't know. I never liked the library."

I didn't like libraries much either. Especially the public ones. No one cleans the washrooms and they smell really bad. Not to mention you sometimes see splatter on the washroom walls. I can't tell Mack that though...

"Start liking it now," I tell her, " or you're going to have to stay after school with your math teacher." Mack doesn't have many options now that her teacher is on her back.
