*****

I hadn't seen Chase since lunch, and I wasn't complaining excpet we had practically every class together and he hadn't shown up to any of them. Just forget about, Valerie. He was a jerk who cheated on you....so why couldn't I get him off my mind? He knew about my dream. The same dream I was just starting to forget about.

I rubbed my temples to soothe my throbbing headache as I slammed my books into my locker before they could fall on top of me. I had gym this period. I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms over my exposing top as I walked down the hall.

A hand reached out to pull the gym door open for me. "Thanks." I smiled looking up at the new guy, Chris. He smiled back, his dimples making my smile widen.

He shoved his hands into his pockets as he walked besides me towards the locker rooms. We were in the main gym. The bleachers were folded and stacked up along the side walls. The basketball hoops were turned upwards towards the tall ceiling. The florescent lights made the room look yellow-ish and our shoes squeaked against the waxed floor.

"Valerie, right?" He asked. I nodded.

"Well Valerie..." He said making his voice an octave lower. "your the first girl I've met all day who hasn't been crawling all over me."

I laughed a little too loudly to my liking and replied, "Shocker."

He smirked. "Something tells me your not like those other girls." He raised one eyebrow when he said this.

I shook my head, "I like to be a little mysterious." I winked at him.

Chris chuckled. He was so easy to talk to, and any guy with his looks could easily be a douche but Chris wasn't and I liked that alot. "I'm hoping I'll get to solve that mystery." I blushed.

Being around him made my headache stop. "So where are you from?" I asked him.

"You see, Valerie, I like to be a little mysterious too." He smirked as he opened up the boy's lockeroom door and slipped in.

"Tease." I muttered, smiling to myself.

My headache suddenly rushed back to me and I felt dizzy as my knees caved in and fell onto the gym floor. I reached out  my hands to catch myself. My vision blurred and my head throbbed. It felt like someone was stabbing my head with a knife. I rubbed my forehead trying to steady myself and stand back up.

"That was weird." I whispered, pushing open the lockeroom door as my headache faded.

I got a few glares towards my direction when I walked in and open up my locker. To my great delight my gym clothes were still there contrary to them being stolen for the last couple of weeks. I smiled to myself and pulled my hair into a pony tail as I slipped on my shorts and T-shirt with the school mascot on it.

"It's really a shame that you two broke up." I looked up from tying my shoe towards the annoyingly high pitched voice.

"Nice to see you too, Rachel." I glared up towards her as I imitated her high voice and fake plastic smile.

Rachel's long brown hair was in a fishtail braid and sweeped along her right shoulder. Her tight gym uniform didn't cover her flat belly so you could see her belly button piercing and her gym shorts showed the outline of her butt cheeks.

I stood up so that I was at her eye level. "Excuse me." I flicked her shoulder and walked past her.

"You think your so funny." Rachel rolled her eyes.

"Yes, yes I do." I nodded cheerfully. I swear if she didn't stop talking someone was going to lose their right leg and it wasn't me.

"Chase just couldn't keep his hands off of me." She bragged.

"Congrats, I personally think he's sweaty." I smiled trying to suppress my laugh.

"Prude." Rachel hissed at me flipping her hair.

"Slut." I muttered.

Rachel whipped around. "What did you just call me?"

"Nothing." I muttered shaking my head.

Rachel shoved me backwards. "That's what I thought."

A couple girls snickered towards me and I wiped a tear forming in my eye.

As if my day couldn't get any better, Rachel was chosen as the captain for one of the volleyball teams. Of course, being her stuck-up self she didn't pick me and so I waited until I was the last one to be taken in by the opposing team.

I spread my legs out wide and squatted down low. "Too bad you couldn't do that for Chase." Rachel smirked at me from the other side of the volleyball net.

A girl on my team served the ball. Rachel jumped into the air and spiked it down on my head. I fell over. She laughed and high-fived the girls on her team. No one even bothered to ask me if I were okay. I got up and wiped my mouth. It was so on.

Rachel's team served the ball and I jumped for it. Rachel, being a couple inches taller than me, smacked the ball so that it landed on the floor besides me. A couple girls on my team complained about me being a lousy player.

Our gym shoes squeaked on the floor as we switched positions. I wiped the sweat forming on my brow and tried to ignore the lustful gazes of the boys who were across the gym doing laps. Then my headache returned stronger than ever. My vision clouded over. The florescent lights seemed to be as bright as the sun. Rachel's taunts echoed around me as my head spun.

"Prude." She snickered.

"Not good enough."

"Picked last like always." It was as if she had duplicated and all I could hear were her taunts when someone served the ball and it slammed down on my head. I collapsed onto the ground. I heard Rachel laugh when my head hit the floor. When I looked up I saw him. The guy from my dream. The Channing Tatum who had tried to kidnap me.

I stood up, my body shaking and I wobbled side to side.

"Prude."

"Not good enough."

Rachel's taunts still echoed. Channing Tatum's eyes bore into mine. The bottomless pit of darkness swallowed me whole and I was at his mercy. I collapsed onto my knees when he raised his hand and my head ache became unbearable.

"Prude. Prude. Prude."

I screamed when someone cradled me in their arms and rubbed my face. "Valerie are you alright? Valerie?" Chris's soothing voice whispered to me. "Valerie?" His voice echoed as my vision wavered. Channing Tatum from my dream stood behind him smirking at me. I couldn't screamed it felt as if my lips were glued together.

Like before, Chris made my headache go away and the man from my dream disappeared in his presence. "Valerie wake up." Chris shook me side to side.

When I had finally regained conciousness to notice that my entire gym class now stood over me, I couldn't get the words that the man had mouthed to me before he disappeared, "Enchantress."
