"Valerie! Someone is here to see you!" My Mom yelled from downstairs. I let out an exaggerated sigh and yanked the bun out of my hair to quickly run through the knots with my fingers. I slammed my textbooks closed and tore off my sweatcoat putting on the top I was wearing earlier.
"I'll be down in a minute!" I yelled turning off the music that blasted from my Ipod and quickly picking some of my snack from between cracks in my teeth. I rolled my head around my neck cracking it efficiently. "Yeah Mom?" I asked as I hopped down the stairs sliding my hand along the banister and jumping onto the oriental carpet that was besides the front door.
My Mom who had a little bit of pasta sauce on her right cheek blushed profusely as she opened the door. "Someone came to apologize to you." She smiled at me, letting them inside.
"Chase leave." I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest. My Mom grabbed me by the hand and pulled me into the dining room even though Chase could problably still hear us.
"Mom!" I whined as she licked her finger and rubbed some crumbs off my chin. "I don't want him to be here." I told her.
"Well from what I hear you got a detention for tomorrow so you have to listen to me, young lady." I sighed, I had completely forgotten about that. "Don't slouch." She said, straightening my shoulders. "Now play safe!" She waved politely to me as she shoved me by the door to Chase who was grinning smugly with his hands in his leatherjacket pockets and his hair ruffled just enough to look sexy.
"Don't pretend you're not enjoying this." He smirked, whispering into my ear as I grabbed my jacket off it's hook and stepped outside.
"What do you want?" I asked turning towards him as he closed the door behind him. Just as I heard the door click, he grabbed me by my forearm and began to drag me to his car that was on the driveway. "Stop it, Chase!" I squirmed in his grip as he unlocked the car door and pushed me inside then putting child lock on. I rolled my eyes and leaned against the window waiting for him to take his seat on the driver's side.
"You're really pathetic, you know that?" He told me, slamming the door closed and putting his keys into the ignition.
I stuck my tounge out at him and he did the same. "That's not a good look for you." He commented pulling the car out of the driveway.
"Where are we going?" I asked, holding onto the door handle even though the car was locked.
"Where are we going?" He mimicked my voice. "I'm not the one you should be afraid of."
I let out a forced laugh. "Well your scaring me right now!" I punched him in his arm and he scowled at me. Just as I retracted my arm he grabbed me by the wrist and I twisted in his hard grip on me. "What are you doing?" I yelled at him pulling my arm away as he pulled a pair of handcuffs out of his jean pockets. "No, put those away now. Chase what are you doing?" I yelled as he snapped the handcuff around my wrist and secured the other end onto the rearview mirror. I began to jingle the cuff along the mirror trying to yank myself free. I scowled at him. "This isn't funny."
Chase chuckled as he sped down our quiet street. It was dark now, around dinner time. A few stars sparkled above through the sunroof and the moonlight reflected onto the street pavement. "It seems pretty funny to me." Chase smirked. "I like you when your chained up." He winked at me.
I rolled my eyes at him and turned away looking out the window. "Well are you going to tell me where were going?"
"Nope." He smiled widely at me.
I bit my lip and stared out the window choosing to ignore him for the rest of the car ride. I gazed up at the sky admiring the abnormally large moon. I smiled to myself, conjuring up an idea and I began to focus all my energy on the moon thinking of pulling it towards me. I furrowed my eyebrows in frustration as I quickly became light headed and panted heavily.
