I had always dreamed of going to an extravangant ball in an elegant dress when I was a little girl. I always wished to be swept off my feet by an handsome prince, and we'd live happily ever after.
I used to believe in magic, too.
Before I knew the dark side of it.
My heels clicked against the tile floor. My dress ruffled back and forth, my hair blowing at my sides. I didn't dare to look back. My ankle twisted and I fell forward.
Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Each step they took brought me closer to my fate. I had to keep going. I had to get to the others, to warn them. I crawled on my arms, dragging my heavy dress on the floor and grunted uneasily at the pain from my twisted ankle.
We had all been so blind.

"Are you sure about this?" Chris asked me, with one hand on the wheel, cocking his head to the side judgingly.
"It won't take that long." I reassured him.
"Fine." He sighed, turning onto Eric's circular driveway. "You have ten minutes. After that, I'm coming in."
I giggled and leaned over to peck Chris lightly on the lips. "I'll be fine." I told him, stepping onto the driveway and closing the door behind me.
"Besides, she's got a werewolf and two Enchantress's protecting her. I think she'll be fine." Greg chuckled, patting Chris on the shoulder who refused to relive bad party memories. He swung his arm over my shoulder and guided me to the door.
I waved goodbye to Chris and stumbled up the steep steps in my high wedges. Remind me again why I always opt for the painfully high shoes? "You guys didn't have to come." I said shyly, biting my bottom lip nervously awaiting the chaos of the party.
"Are you kidding? I never even been to a real party." Katy laughed, squeezing Nate's hand. Her sequin skirt shimmered in the darkly lit entryway and she played with a piece of her freshly curled hair.
"I could use the break from all this saving the world stuff." Greg laughed.
"And I'm not letting anyone touch my girl." Nate shrugged, pecking Katy lightly. I giggled, but butterflies swarmed in my stomach. My last visit here, had made me an Youtube hit.
Enchantress #5
Name: Derek Oxford
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Things might have gotten a little out of control. I tore off my shirt, showing off my perfectly sculpted body and swung it around over my head in circles, shouting at the top of my lungs to the music that boomed loudly from the speakers we had hoisted up into trees. I wrapped my arm around my date, Natasha-something I didn't really remember anything except for her delicious curves. A bucket of beer was dunked over my head, completely drenching me. I laughed, and shoved back my friend lightly, giving him a noogie as I held him down in a headlock. I threw him onto the ground victoriously, and everyone went wild. I flashed Natasha my signature smirk and her cheeks flushed red. I still got it.
I laughed, and picked my friend off the ground returning to grinding up against girls in my crowded backyard. My parents were gone for the weekend, so I decided to take advantage of it. Everyone screamed as two boys from my class slid off the make-shift slide they built that traveled off my one-story house roof into a mini blow up pool. They skidded down the slip and slide material used to make this contraption and plummented into two feet of water. Everyone jumped up and down, holding their red plastic cups above their heads and the ground rumbled.
