"Where have you been hiding all day?" Eric asked me as the final bell echoed through the bustling halls, as I tugged my books close to my chest and avoided head on collisions with students hurrying to get out of this hell hole.

I shrugged. "Things have just been...complicated lately." It was a total lie, but I still felt uncomfortable keeping secrets from him. We always told eachother everything.

"Same here." Eric grinned and me, tightening the strap on his backpack. "I couldn't decide on pizza or the taco bar, decisons...decisons.." He said shaking his head.

I laughed rolling my eyes at him. "I worry about you sometimes."

"Me?" He asked, putting a hand on his green Lacoste t-shirt. "Don't worry about me, when you should be worrying about a certain male who has been following us down the halls for the last five minutes.." He craned his neck towards Chase who glared back at him.

I laughed, ignoring my over protective protecter. I reminded myself to use that one next time he tried to get me to skip dates with certain sexy males.

Eric bumped his hip lightly into mine and whispered in my ear, "I just can't tell if he's following me or you?"

I smiled, shaking my head. "I am obviously the most attractive of us."

"Don't be so sure some ladies can't resist a blonde." He winked at me. "I know your just waiting your turn to get onto the Eric Wagon!" He said, honking an imaginary horn and "tooting" loudly.

"But I have something you don't."

"And what is that?" He asked, leaning against the wall of lockers while I grabbed what I needed for tonight's homework.

"A cute toosh." I giggled, wiggling my butt against his leg.

"You win this time, Val." He laughed saluting me for the day. "Text you later." He called out, before jogging down the hall to catch up with his hockey friends.

"I don't like him." Chase said, suddenly appearing besides me.

I slammed my locker closed. "Give me some space, sheesh."

"Are you sure your not enjoying this?" He asked, lightly brushing my hair in his fingers sending chills up my spine.

I turned towards him. "Positive." I replied, walking down the hall briskly to get away from him.

He chuckled, running to catch up with me when Chris who was shoving some things into his bag starting walking besides me. My heart fluttered when he flipped his hair to the side and I got lost in his mesmerizing gaze. "We still up for tonight?" He asked anxiously.

"Can't wait." I smiled noticing the death stares from some girls in the hallway.

"Prepare to be amazed." Chris smirked.

"I'm pretty sure I'll be the one who will be doing the amazing." I bit my lip suggestively, feeling my cheeks blush under his gaze.

"Almost forgot," Chris reached into his duffel and yanked out his cellphone. "can I have your digits?" He asked cheezily.

I laughed at his lame line. "Sure." And we plugged eachother's numbers into our phones.

"Pick you up at six?"

"Sounds great."

He waved goodbye, walking out of the main lobby into the school pick-up line. My heart swooned and I couldn't help but smile uncontrollably. "Stop blushing." Chase muttered into my ear, yanking me back from exiting the school.
