Aaron was left alone, cold, starving. Miles from his home, and a large painful sting.

The dagger had temporarily paralyzed him. And he was face down in the dry dirt.

He felt stupid, why had he ever thought she would love him in return. He thought she was different.

But instead, she went off with Garroth and Laurence. And took his heart with her.

She had dug the dagger exactly where Jennifer had done before. Were all girls like this? Only in it for gain?

Impacts loyalties were not with him. He had gone with her. And left him stranded.

He had given her everything he had. He was nothing. Had nothing, and was going to die here.

He supposed it was for the best. He was just dead weight. A tiny insignificant speck. He was to her, and he was to himself.

His vision started failing him as he bled out. He felt hot tears run down his face. This was it, hopefully his body would be useful to something.

Taking a final heave, his heart shuttered to a halt. And he took his last breath...

He was jostled awake by a very worried Aphmau. She was trying very hard to wake him up.

"Aaron! Wake up!" She saw his eyes were open and she tried to calm herself down.

"What?! What's wrong?!" He asked her. Holding on to her shoulders. She was crying, her head held down.

"You wouldn't wake up, and I couldn't find your pulse. I thought...I..." She looked up at him with tear stained eyes.

Maybe, she is different...

"Hey, I'm okay, I haven't gone anywhere." He brought her close and embraced her.

"Sorry, I had a nightmare. You... You... you won't hurt me. Will you?" She asked, shaking.

"No, No never, I would never." He replied. Placing his head on hers.

This seem to console her, at least for the time being. Because she hugged him tighter, and then let go, looking him in the eye.

"I... I think, we're going a little fast. I barely know you. I don't even know your favorite color. Or where you came from."

"I... I see, I know, I just- being alone for so long... it's hard you know." He admitted, he hadn't planned on taking their relationship further. He was just enjoying her company.

"I know! And I still want to be with you, I'm not saying that. I just think we should, slow down a little." She gave him a long smile, and then backed away.

Aaron looked down, she was right, they were moving a bit fast. But he wasn't the greatest at relationships.

"We don't want to end up like my parents..." he finished. He flinched at the thought of being like them. A month into their relationship they moved way to fast and...

That's how he got here.

"Y-your parents, See! I had no idea!" She exclaimed, trying at some comic relief.

He chuckled at her attempts. And he smiled sweetly.

"Yeah, Lets slow down. We need to really know each other first." But again he hugged her, and she snuggled into him. Much more tentatively then she would have normally.

"Red." He said suddenly, making himself jump.

"What?" She replied, looking at him confused.

"Red, its my favorite color." He blushed awkwardly. That didn't sound like he wanted it to.

"Oh, well then, mine's purple." She replied, smiling.

Against himself he started chuckling, it was mostly to pad the tension. And she started laughing too. But once they started, it became hard to stop, they laughed until their ribs hurt and their throats were numb.

"So, where does a man like yourself come from, since we're on the subject." She asked, wiping away a joyful tear.

"Well, right here in this very station. Born and raised right where you're standin'." He replied proudly, puffing his chest out.

"What?, then were are your parents? If you don't mind me asking."

His chest deflated and he looked at her, scanning her eyes and her face.

"Gone, don't know where they are, and I honestly don't care. They didn't like me much, you know, I was the byproduct of a night of one to many drinks." He replied, the smile gone from his face.

"Aaron..." She really didn't have anything to say.

"Huh? Don't worry about it, I've excepted that a long time ago. I won't be like that." He put on a smile.

"How did we get here? you started out so uncaring, I thought you hated me at the beginning."

"Honestly, I didn't know what to think when I found you. It was kind of a struggle, it was hard not to open up to you. But now..."

"I'm glad that I did, it's only been a little over a month. And I'm already more open to people." He finished, feeling better with all of this off his chest.

"Has it been that long?! It's only felt like two weeks to me!" She exclaimed. Almost laughing again.

"Yeah!, what time are you on?" He said sarcastically, Grinning.

A thump from the other room told them that Laurence and Garroth were up. But they still didn't get out of bed.

"Ha Ha, very funny Aaron." She punched him playfully.

"I know I am." He replied, punching her back.

"You two are loud." Garroth came from the garage, looking pleased.

"So are you." Aaron and Aphmau said at once. Laughing at their sync.

"What?!" Garroth exclaimed, looking at them.

"You forgot to close the window." Aaron pointed out. Pointing to the now closed window.

"Oh..." He was blushing very bright red. And he ran back into the garage.

"3, 2, 1" They both started counting down, and then:

"WHAT?!"

They started rolling on the bed with laughter. Aphmau hugging the covers and Aaron beating the pillow with his fists.

"Hey Aphmau?" He asked her after he was finished dying.

"Y-Yeah?" She replied.

"Thank you. For... being you." He said sweetly. Smiling.

"Uh!, your so full of cheese." She rolled her eyes. But was blushing anyway.

"Hah, You know you love me!"
