Impact lumbered behind Aphmau as Garroth and Laurence carried Aaron across the rubble.

They had got him to stop vomiting, so it wasn't as gross as they had originally thought. It was still gross though.

He was delusional and passed out most of the time. So he wasn't that hard to deal with.

But Aphmau was struggling to keep moving. They hadn't stopped walking and they were over halfway there.

"G-Guys, C-can we stop for a few minutes..." She said breathlessly, holding her expanded and pained stomach.

"Aph? Are you okay?" Garroth asked, but he couldn't let go of Aaron, who was hanging off his shoulder.

"Y-Yeah I just need to- Gah!"

A huge contraction made her hit the ground, and Laurence ran over to her side.

"A-Aph!" He grasped her hand, and picked her up. She started breathing really hard.

"Laurence! The baby!" She yelled, and tears of pain rolled down her cheeks.

Aaron somehow came to for a few minutes. And he very weakly said:

"Hurry, We have to get to the vault. For both of us."

Garroth heard him and helped Laurence and Aphmau. Then they started sprinting to the Vault.

The roughness started to make Aaron throw up again. But it was a bit late to be grossed out.

Finally the vault was in view, its guards at the entrance.

"Dante! Travis!" Garroth yelled, dodging another projectile for the man on his back.

"Guys! What are you?" Presumably this was Dante, he had blue hair and a shotgun slung over his back.

"No time, These two need a doctor, Now!" Laurence cried as he held Aphmau in his arms. And she had gripped his hand very tightly.

"Go inside!" Travis, the white haired guard at the the door said, he had a sniper rifle, opening the door for them he followed them inside.

Both of them were immediately carted off the the emergency room. Garroth and Laurance were sat down in the waiting room, being updated.

"What happened?" The doctor asked them, IT of course was about Aaron, as it was obvious what was wrong with Aph.

"We were fighting a Deathclaw and he entered the power armor without its core. He used all of his power to kill the thing." Laurance explained, holding his lover's hand.

"Alright, His right lung is half collapsed, And has multiple broken bones." He glanced at Laurance's arm.

"But you have done an excellent job on setting his bones. We are starting to re inflate his lung as we speak. Your friend will be fine."

They let out a sigh of relief, Aaron was going to be fine. Garroth squeezed Laurance's hand and looked at him.

"I told you." He chuckled.

"Now the bigger question, who's the father of the baby being born in the next room?" The doctor asked, grinning from ear to ear.

They looked at each other and nodded.

"It's Aaron, The one with the collapsed lung, he's the father." Laurance said at once, being a very good lier.

The doctor smiled and nodded.

"Then he is a very lucky man." And the doctor walked into Aphmau's room.

She was finally in labor, and six inches dilated, she was hooked up to a machine. And it pumped painkillers into her system, she was still breathing hard and was still in pain.

"Alright you can start pushing now."  One of the nurses said.

"Where the hell is the father?!"  Another one said, gently mopping Aphmau's head.

"He's having his lung reinflated, he fought against a Deathclaw and won."

"Oh, sorry then."

"Gah!" She pushed and pain shot through her, the monitor beeping with her heartbeat.

-------

In Aaron's room, they had finished the surgery, and he was no longer out of his mind. And they opened a call so he could watch the birth of "his" baby.

He was white in the face, seeing her in that much pain was more painful then the lung inflation he had just went through.

"Push!" The nurse told Aphmau again, and she did as she was told, and the nurses huddled around her.

"I see a head!" One cried, and positioned her self to catch him.

"Come on almost there!" A nurse told her to push again. And very slowly the baby reveled themselves.

Finally, it was out, and they cleaned it off, cutting the umbilical cord.

Still breathing hard, Aphmau wanted Aaron right next to her. But then they placed the baby on her chest.

She, yes, she was a beautiful and with caramel eyes. She seemed to get everything from her mother. And she cried for a moment before she looked at her mothers face.

"Do you have a name?" A nurse asked, smiling.

"No, I think me and my lover should decide that." She said breathlessly, caressing the back of the baby's head.

"Alright..." she looked kind of disappointed. But then left.

Garroth and Laurance walked in a moment later. Smiling at the sight.

"Well, how's the little one?" He waltzed over and almost cried.

She was so small, and she looked just like her mother. He grinned and put his hand over top of her.

"Hey... I'm your uncle Garroth." He said in a soft voice, humming contently.

"Do you want to hold her Garroth?" Aphmau asked with a tired lace in her voice.

"M-Me, I... Yeah!" He picked her up gently and chuckled, she barely moved. And just laid there.

Suddenly, the door opened and Aaron limped in with a cane. A fluid drip trailing behind him.

"Sir, you need to rest, Your not fully-" A nurse called from behind him.

"Ah, I'll do that in a minute, let me see my baby." He talked gruffly and walked slowly to Aphmau's side. Looking at the baby in Garroths arms.

"Heh, hey there...I'm your Papa...I don't look to well at the moment do I huh?" He stuck his hand out and the baby weakly grabbed it and he chuckled.

"Yeah, I thought so..."
