They had been trying for a baby for eight months, nothing...
The sky was gray and the ground was wet, and our two lovers have suspected that one of them may be unable to have a baby.
So at the moment, they are not at the station, they are halfway to the vault, to see why they can't seem to have a baby.
They had left Aurora with Garroth and Laurance, who had also wanted papers delivered. Impact and Luna also stayed with them, and Luna had grown to be a beautiful Pit-Chow Mix.
It was too dark to see, the wind was howling and rain beat on the cloth roof like bullets.
And leaning against the support pole, Aaron was sleeping upright, he was supposed to be keeping watch, but the rain had lulled him to sleep.
Aphmau chuckled and gently woke him up.
"Are you sleepy hon?" He asked after getting his consciousness back.
"Yeah, come on, lets go to sleep. We have a long day tomorrow..." She gently took his hands a guided him into the tent with her, as he was still groggy.
And he chuckled.
"Come here..." He whispered sleepily, holding out his arms like a child.
Smiling, Aphmau cuddled up into his chest, his arms wrapping around her.
"No matter what happens, we're going to get through this." He steadied his hands on her stomach and held them there.
"We'll find a way, like we always do." He kissed the back of her neck gently as she leaned back into him. Sighing like she never wanted this to end.
"What if we find out we can't. And there's nothing we can do?" She asked, her hand loosely in his.
He tightened his grip on her hand, and you could tell he was putting his words carefully.
"Then at least we have each other, and Aurora." He said finally, burying his face in her hair.
Finding the blanket and pulling it over them, he sighed and let the warmth wash over the both of them, and Aphmau turned over to look at him.
"Yeah, and you don't know how grateful I am for the both of you... but ever since Aurora was born I was wishing of having a baby with you. And it's been a little over eight months since we started trying." She buried her head in his chest and he rested his hand on the back of her head.
"And I want a baby just as bad, but the universe may not be ready for such a child to be born. They would have my strength and wits, and your compassion and love, God would be jealous of such a child."
She giggled and pushed him down onto the pile of blankets and pillows where they slept.
"The universe would bend to their will." She added, giggling and kissing her cheek.
"It would! And they would unite all people under one nation, just like it was before!" He started daydreaming of the day where life would be better.
"Yes... I would love that..." Aphmau slid her hand down his chest. And fell asleep leaning against his shoulder.
He looked at her and smiled at his soon-to-be wife, he caressed her hand lightly then lifted it up so he could kiss her palm.
"You know, if you kiss your lovers palm, you can make any wish, and it will come true."
"If only I could have wished the condom wouldn't have broken, then I wouldn't have to look at you."
