It's been a few weeks, the air has started to get cold. But at the moment, our two friends haven't noticed.

Krakow!

Aaron was teaching Aphmau how to defend herself. It was going better than he expected.

Her aim was a bit off, and she stood a little weird. But she could at least, defend herself now.

"Okay, That's enough for today." He called out to her. And she put down her pistol.

He had given her his old pistol. He had no use for it. So now it was finally getting some use. Even if her having a gun worried him a bit.

The walked in the station, Impact yawned and looked up from his spot on the floor. He wagged his tail lazily, and didn't even attempt to nip at their feet.

Aphmau laid the pistol on the counter. She sighed heavily and dove into the armchair, Groaning.

Aaron chuckled, "It wasn't that bad, was it."

"No. I'm just really tired. You snore, did you know that?" She replied, looking at him with a smirk.

"I do not!" He said defensively, going up to her tiny figure.

Suddenly he flipped her out of the armchair, catching her and holding her over his shoulder he laughed.

She wiggled and screamed, but then started laughing.

"Aaron, put me down!" She laughed in between breaths. Trying to struggle out of his grasp.

"Say I don't snore!" Aaron laughed and held on to her tighter. Feeling the years of social(or lack of) experience leave him.

"It still won't change the fact that you do!" She yelled defiantly, trying once again to wiggle free.

"Say it!" He started spinning, making the both of them dizzy. Almost running into a wall.

"You don't snore!" She yelled in defeat, and suddenly she was standing on the floor.

Impact barked and wagged his tail as they were goofing around. He liked this side of his masters.

Aphmau didn't realize Aaron was holding her steady until she tried to move, and Aaron's hands were on her waist.

She blushed, When she first met him she expected his hands to be rough and scratchy. They were actually quite strong, soft and careful.

Aaron gave a nervous laugh, Which Aphmau returned.

Aaron quickly let go of her. And started walking off. But he heard loud footsteps behind him.

Aphmau rammed into him knocking him on the floor. She pinned him down laughing.

Then they started wrestling on the floor. Rolling around on the floor like dogs.

Finally Aaron pinned her to the wall, both of them not being able to stop laughing.

Then they realized what position they were in.

Her legs were tangled with his, his hand close to her waist. And they were inches from each others faces.

They both blushed, staring into each other's eyes.

Impact left the room. And he knew what was happening.

"A-Aaron?" She backed into the wall further. She was nervous.

He gathered control of himself, and backed away.

He cleared his throat, And walked into the garage, closing, but not locking, the door behind him.

This left Aphmau alone, against the wall, and confused.

She leaned against the wall a little, thinking about what just happened. She assumed that he had restrained himself. He did know what happened to her after all.

It took a few minutes for her to calm down. She didn't really know what had happened.

Aaron was pacing around the garage, blushing. He didn't know what came over him. One second they were wrestling and the next he had her against the wall.

He composed himself, he couldn't let his feelings get in the way. Not when she had to go though what she did.

A man does not let his desires get in the way of his duties. His job was to protect her, to be her friend, her mentor, Not her lover.

Even knowing this, He couldn't stop thinking about what could have happened if he didn't back away.

That night, it was cold and icy, a nuclear winter. Frost lined the edges of the station. And between the two of them. They were not ready for winter.

"So. C-cold." Aphmau stammered, she was used to heating and air conditioners. Back home they knew how to make them.

Here, it was them and the elements. Impact had started to get his winter, shaggy coat. And the amount of times Aphmau had cuddled with him had doubled.

At first they had their normal sleeping arrangements. But as the night grew colder, the will to be warm took over.

"Are you cold?" Aaron asked her, and she nodded, her hands and feet numb.

He lept from his chair took his blanket, and put it over her, then he crawled into bed behind her.

Impact then joined them, his warm fur helping them insulate.

"Uh, Are you sure?" Aphmau stuttered, she was afraid they were going to break the small bed.

So close it made her jump, Aaron said.

"Yeah , Its really cold, we could get sick."

Aphmau nodded, not that Aaron could see her. And against herself, cuddled into Aaron's chest.

He froze, the sudden contact made his heart stutter. But he wrapped his arms around both her and Impact anyway.

Feeling more tired then ever in his life, he did his best to refrain from falling asleep there. But he failed and fell asleep along with Impact and Aphmau.

And Much to his surprise in the morning, She didn't mind.
