CHAPTER 7

Why did I even go here in the first place? 

Napabuntong-hininga nalang ako. I have nowhere else to go. I can't stay in the mansion kasi nandoon ang mga kapatid ko. And after the stunt they pulled during breakfast ay baka 5 minutes palang kaming magkakasama ay pinag-untog ko na sila.

"Good morning manang, what's for breakfast?" Kakapasok ko palang sa dining hall ng magsalubong kami ni manang.

"Gumawa ako ng pancakes iha, pero meron din namang garlic rice kung gusto mo," I smiled at her, yeah medyo iniiwasan ko ang pancakes eh.

"Hey princess, Good morning." 

"Good morning too Kuya," my two brothers are already seated. "Andrea's still sleeping," Kuya Gino informed me.

The bacon strips caught my eye kaya medyo nagutom ako. I was putting the rice on my plate when kuya called my name.

"Bakit kuya?"

"Why are you eating rice?" 

"I always eat rice for breakfast." Hindi ko na pinansin ang weird expression niya and continued stuffing my plate with foods.

"Since when did you eat rice for breakfast?" 

"Like 5 years ago," its true, I mean I didn't hate pancakes its just that they remind me of--

"Diba you were so into pancakes before kasi nga favorite niyo ng ex-bofriend mo?" I almost chocked at Gino Montes'  words. "Yeah, I remembered pa nga na you even perfected making pancakes for it to be special." And Joshua Montes seconded. 

They continued traveling down the memory lane when I dropped my spoon on the plate that made a cluttering sound. "Can you guys stop it." I said with fist closed as I try to calm myself.

"C'mon princess, chill. We're just reminiscing. What was his name again?"

Seriously?!

"It's Ryan you dummy, he's her childhood friend remember." Okay that's it!

"Kuya stop! Just stop it! Can you please stop talking about that asshole! Geez you made me lose my appetite, excuse me," with that I stormed out of the house, and hailed a cab outside. 

At nandito ako sa mall ngayon, alone.

I was pissed kaya I need space, maybe to cool down a little bago umuwi. Good thing I have cash with me kasi if not baka magmukha akong tanga rito.

I'm not a shopaholic person, pero dahil bored ako naisipan maglakad-lakad at pumasok sa mga stalls, I'm not really buying anything though. 

After a few minutes, window-shopping bored the hell out of me kaya napunta ako sa may cinema.

I decided to watch a fantasy genre movie since ayaw ko naman manood ng romance. Nang maka pasok ako sa cinema marami nang tao, maybe because its saturday. Nag simula na ang movie and I was on razor sharp focus mode pero kung iniinis ka talaga ng panahon ay hindi mo magawa kasi naman sa buong row namin ako lang yata ang walang ka-partner, see? 

At ang nakakainis lang ang lalandi nila sobra, magharutan ba naman sa sinehan. And imagine the fact that the movie is a family friendly one. At dahil sa inis ko, na hindi ko alam ang dahilan tumayo nalang ako at nag desisyong umalis nalang. Pero dahil imbyerna ako masyado humarap ako sa mga katabi ko at sinabing... 

"Excuse me lang po pero sinehan po ito at hindi motel. Nagbayad po kami nang maayos para manood ng pelikula at hindi para makinig sa kalandian niyo. Kaya kung ayaw niyong manood lumabas nalang kayo. Ang PDA niyo masyado!" Sabay walk out.
