Chapter 10

*Ross POV*

I walked back downstairs instead of going to bed. I walked in and my family was staring at me,"why are you staring at me?"

"So hooooow'd it go?" Rocky questioned.

"Fine...but Anna seems...distracted and just acting weird.

"Oh so she's a weird one...she seemed normal when we met her and she first came over..." Rocky said.

"No I don't mean she's weird! She is normal! She's just acting weird...like when I was just showing her her new room or Rydel's room technically and she literally asked if she can use the bathroom like asking if it was ok with me...she didn't say it like she's some weird person that just asks that...it's hard to explain...she even took a step back when she asked like she was almost a little afraid." I looked at them all. I don't understand why she would ask like she did.

"Wow maybe she was just nervous and didn't mean to say it like that." Riker suggested.

I thought for a few seconds," I guess but it didn't really seem like that would be why...it's hard to explain. You would to have been there and saw the way she said it. Maybe I'm wrong though. I just don't know."

"Well I don't know, it's probably nothing," Riker said.

"Yeah but don't ask her about it and put her on the spot. I'm going to bed, I'm sleepy so goodnight!" Rydel said walking upstairs.

We all said goodnight to Rydel and turned back to everyone else. "Ratliff are you staying the night?" I asked.

"What? Oh yeah I am I basically live here," Ratliff laughed.

"Cool..." I said.

*Rydel's POV*

I walked into my room and saw Anna sitting on her bed that my mom set up for her before Ross brought her here to stay here temporarily.

"Oh hey Anna I thought you'd be asleep." I looked at her, she looked exhausted.

"Hey I was just about climb into bed. Thanks for sharing your room with me. It means a lot." Anna said.

"Oh it's no problem! When my mom told me you were staying I just had to have you in my room! I'm always with guys, so it's great to have a girl with me!" I exclaimed. It was the truth, a girl sometimes need a sister especially when you have 4 brothers and Ratliff always here!

Anna giggled," Thanks, we are gonna be best friends!"

I giggled too," Promise?!"

"Promise," Anna said holding out her pinkie.

I hooked my pinkie with hers and we shook on it. We are such children! But who cares! We both laughed.

I climbed into bed as Anna did the same and I turned out the light,"Goodnight Anna."

"Goodnight Rydel."

With that I went to sleep.

*Anna's POV*

I woke up the next morning after tossing and turning all night. I can't help but worry. But to leave here without the the Lynch's or Ratliff or ANYBODY being suspicious ill have to act like nothing's wrong and think of some sort of plan to get out of here and them not meet my parents...

I walked downstairs realizing everybody was still asleep. It was only 8 A.M. So I decided to make everyone breakfast. Well 9 people breakfast including me. I hurried around the kitchen getting ingredients to make pancakes from scratch and eggs, bacon, fresh squeezed orange juice.

After a little over an hour, everything was cooked but everyone is still asleep so I put them everything in the oven and turned on low heat to keep it all warm and put the OJ into the fridge and waited for everyone to get up.

About 10 minutes later Stormie and Mark come downstairs. "Hi Stormie, Mark." I politely said.

"Good morning Anna!" Mark said

"Good morning sweetie, what would you like for breakfast?" Stormie asked.

"Don't bother, I made everyone breakfast." I said taking everything out of the oven and the OJ out of the fridge.

"Oh you didn't have to make us all breakfast! You shouldn't have!" Mark said.

"Its my pleasure. I like cooking anyway. I usually cook all the time!" I exclaimed

"Well thank very much then. It was very nice of you." Mark thanked.

"No problem," I smiled. Just as I poured Mark and Stormie orange juice everybody came downstairs. I set all the food I made on to the table.

"It smells so good mom!" Ryland yelled coming into the kitchen.

"Don't say that to me, say that to Anna, she's the one who cooked everything." Stormie said.

Everyone looks at me in awe,"Wow Anna, I didn't know you could cook! It smells amazing!" Ryland cheered.

"Thanks Ryland. Sit down and eat everyone!" I say sitting next to Ross.

Ross put his hand on my thigh and moved his thumb slowly in circles. I look at him and smile. After eating and a lot of compliments on my food Ross and I went to his and Rylands room. Ryland was downstairs so we were alone.

"Your cooking is really good, amazing even baby," Ross said walking up to me.

"Thanks Ross. It's nothing special." I smiled.

Ross looked into my eyes and kissed me passionately. I smiled through the kiss and so did Ross.

Ross and pulled apart," So how do you like it here so far?" Ross asked.

"I love it here...but I don't think I can stay long..." I trailed off. I couldn't lie.

Ross gave me a confused look,"What do you mean Anna?"

"I mean I don't think I should stay long...I mean my...parents don't know your family..." Well it wasn't a lie technically.

"Oh...Well that's true, but maybe your grandparents will be better soon anyway...or we can video chat or call them or whatever!" Ross exclaimed.

Damn it," Not now Ross at least I mean my grandparents are very sick. My parents are very busy with them. Ill stay a little longer...I just feel like a burden." Yeah that's good and believable wow I'm good.

Ross thought for a minute," Ok but you're not a burden." Right then Ross kissed me the best he's had since we started dating...well since last night.

We stood there kissing with no worries in the world. "Hey let's goto the beach today and surf!" Ross said excitedly.

"Ok let me change and get my surf board. Do you want to bring everyone else?" I asked.

"Sure if you want to," Ross replied.

"Ok cool let's ask."
