Chapter 23

*Anna's POV*

"Anyway, Riley, I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you before. I feel horrible," I said after Riley and I calmed down.

"Anna don't apologize! I understand it's okay!" Riley replied.

"No it's not! You save those peoples lives for God's sake! I can never repay you," I said anxiously.

"Anna Anna Anna, I was happy to do it! You don't need to repay me I swear," Riley grabbed my shoulders and gave me a little shake.

"But-" I started but was interrupted," No buts okay?" Riley said.

I slowly nodded my head.

"Can we get off the subject if you must repay me?" Riley asked.

I laughed," Yes gladly...I hate thinking about it...it hurt me so bad that day...the it is my parents...that story makes me want to run people over with a car...."

Rocky looked at me with wide eyes," Well that escalated quickly."

Everyone started cracking up.

"Stay away from my car," Riker laughed.

Everyone murmured in agreement, I just shrugged.

"So.....what now?" Ratliff broke in.

We all just kind of looked at each other," Well, you guys have a tour coming up...don't you guys need to rehearse?" I asked.

Everyone nodded," Yeah we really should rehearse guys," Riker said.

"Yeah...hey Ross did you tell Anna the news?" Rydel asked.

Ross nodded. "What news?" I asked totally clueless.

"You know, the day we went on our first date and-" Ross was interrupted by a bunch of Ohhh lala's from Rocky, Ratliff and Ryland.

Ross and I rolled our eyes," Anyway the news about you can open up for R5 for a night if you wanted to," Ross said.

" Oh that's right, yeah I would love to if you don't recall my complete freak out," I laughed.

Ross chuckled," Yeah so you can teach us your songs too unless you have your music recorded on something that you can use?"

I nodded," Yeah I have the beat or whatever recorded on my iPod Karen got me... I recorded it all karaoke style, I did all the drums and guitars, bass, and keyboard and put it all together myself. But if you guys wanna learn it that's fine by me."

"Wow, um how about you play the music and sing and we'll work from there," Ross replied.

"Cool," I smiled.

"Okay come on guys let's rehearse!"Riker announced walking towards the basement.

Ross smiled at me and held out his hand," Lets go babe."

I smiled and grabbed his hand and walked downstairs to the basement.

"Do you want to sing first or...?" Riker asked.

"No no R5 is more important so you guys rehearse first," I said.

Riker nodded and everyone went to their instruments. I sat on the couch, Ryland came and sat next to me, Riley on his other side.

R5 started to play Pass Me By. while Ross was singing 'Cant let you pass me by'  part he winked at me. I blushed.

Ryland looked over at me and gave me a cheesy Ohhh la la smile everyone gives when you're a couple. I gave Ryland push on his head to make home look the other way. Ryland laughed.
