*Anna's POV*

I pulled away from Ross and ran downstairs. "Anna wait!" Ross called from behind me but I didn't stop, although Ross followed.

"Where's Riley?" I yelled when I got downstairs.

"Uh in the kitchen with Ryland," Riker replied," What's going-"

I ran into the kitchen before Riker could finish. Everyone ended up following me into the kitchen," Riley!" I exclaimed and hugged her.

"So you remember now?" Riley laughed hugging back.

Ryland gave me a funny look," Um what do you remember?"

"I'm so sorry I didn't remember until now! I should've  remembered you right away! I'm so stupid! Thank you so much!" I said in a rush completely ignoring Ryland.

"Hey it's okay you can't help it..." Riley trailed off.

Rocky broke in,"Okay okay can someone explain what's going on because I'm completely lost..."

I took a breath,"I know Riley as you can tell. But we....weren't really friends ever. We never really knew each other..." I trailed off.

I didn't know exactly what to say honestly.

"Anna and I saw each other when she went with that one family I don't remember their names to Hawaii..." Riley trailed off.

*Riley's POV*

Anna nodded," But we didn't really get anytime to talk....considering what happened..."

I can tell Anna's having a hard time talking about it. I mean I am too and I wasn't close to the man or even know him. I can't imagine how hard it is for her!

"What happened Anna?" Riker asked as carefully as he could.

Anna started to turn a little pale," Well um..."

I put my hand on her shoulder," Anna are you okay? If you can tell it's okay. Considering how hard it is for me to hear it or say it, I can't imagine how it is for you. Don't tell if you don't want too."

Anna shook her head," No no I need to tell..."

The more Anna thought about it, the more pale she got. Anna started shaking a little too.

"Babe, don't tell. I don't think you're ready to...you don't look so good. You should go lay down," Ross said gently grabbing Anna's hand.

Anna shook her head again," Ill never be ready to tell the story. Nothing will make what happen change or any easier..."

Anna looked at the floor. Everyone looked at me and I just shook my head. I don't know what to do...do I tell them for her or let her tell...

Anna took a shaky breath," On the vacation to Hawaii, It was the 2nd to last day before we left to go back home and my nightmare came true... We were all at the beach surfing and having fun."

I looked at her and her eyes were watering a little. She kept staring at the floor, making no eye contact with anyone.

"I-i was paddling in, almost to shore, because Karen, the mom, said we had to head back to the hotel. The second my feet were able to touch the sand, everything went completely insane. Everyone was...screaming and running around..." Anna kept messing with her hands has the story unfolded. I thought she was about to pass out.
