Chapter 28

*Ross's POV*

"OH MY GOD ANNA!" I screamed bursting into tears even more than I already was.

I ran to the tub and pushed everyone out of my way," WAKE UP ANNA! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?" I asked still screaming through the tears.

"Stormie, go call an ambulance hurry!" Dad ordered.

Dad felt the side of her neck," She's got a pulse but we still need to hurry, it's slowing down."

"Anna please, don't die. Why?" I cried.

Riker put his hand my shoulder," Calm down Ross it's okay. I'm worried too," I looked up at Riker, his eyes were watery. I looked at everyone else, they are almost in tears too.

Rydel is already crying like me and mom came back really teary too. "I called, I told them what happened, they're sending an ambulance. They said they won't take her to the hospital unless she stops breathing."

We all nod. I take off my shirt and wrap it around her arm to help stop the bleeding. I finally hear sirens and a knock on the door. My mom goes and brings them to the bathroom.

They carefully pick up Anna and put her on the bed thing they brought. They take her blood pressure and put an IV in wrist. "She's gonna be okay. She'll need some stitches. We have the things we need here so we won't take her to the hospital."

"How many stitches?" I Rocky asks.

The ambulance medic thought for a moment," Well the cut is deep and all the way from right above her wrist to her elbow so I'd say at least 14 or more. I mean it's pretty deep, it looks like she barely missed a major blood vessel, if she woulda cut that she would have died."

We all nodded slowly. Everyone calmed down once we knew she'd be okay. I just hate seeing her like this. She's so sad and and pale looking.

The cleaned the cut and I gasped at how bad it is. I turned away and looked at the water in the tub that is colored red with Anna's blood. I start to tear up, I can't believe this. What am I gonna do with her. Help her...how?

How do you help someone with such a hard life where the only way out is death or kill their parents? I thought.

"Okay I'm finished. I put this big bandage around her arm so she doesn't rip open the stitches. I also ended up having to stitch up a muscle too. I can't express how much you need to keep an eye on her. I'm not giving her depression pills because she'd most likely refuse them and asking her to take them would make her feel worst. I'm not that kind of doctor to force that," The paramedic advised.

Mom and Dad nodded," Thank you and we will. She's had...a hard...life. Trust me," Mom put her hand on my shoulder," This kid won't leave her side."

The paramedic smiled," Okay good, have a nice rest of your day, good luck!" He took the IV put of Anna's arm.

"Ill pick her up and take her to her room," I said.

I picked Anna up bridal style. Riker spoke up," Um sir, there was a lot of blood in the tub, her blood colored all of the water in the tub, how much blood did she loose?"

The paramedic looked at all of us," That reminds me, make sure she rest a lot, she lost at least 50% of her blood supply, She's honestly a living miracle. She'll probably be asleep for awhile, I gave her some pain medication that makes people very drowsy."

We all looked at each other in amazement. We gasped," Oh my God."

The paramedic nodded slowly in sympathy," Well I gotta go, hope everything gets better."

We thanked the man and I carried Anna to her to my room instead of Rydel's. I laid her down in my bed gently and tucked her in.

"So you're taking her to her room aye?" Ryland laughed..

"Well I lied," I replied sitting in the chair next to my bed.

"Well he's a good boyfriend though," Dillon said leaning into the doorway.

Ryland shrugged," I'm going to the store to get her something to make her feel better...Ill go see who wants to go. Wanna go? Mom or Dad will watch her."

I shook my head," Nah, I wanna stay here incase she wakes up."

Ryland nodded and walked out. Dillon walked in a little," Can I come in?"

"Yeah sure of course." I replied.

Dillon closed the door and walked in and sat next to Anna on my bed," Its my fault..."

I looked up at him," How is it your fault?"

"I was being stupid, a jerk! I asked her all these questions why she wouldn't come to the beach with me and my family and she was acting funny and I said she isn't the same girl I used to know...it's more complicated than that though..." Dillon looked down at the floor, refusing to look at me in the eyes.

"Dillon, don't beat yourself up! She's been upset about everything, especially when we forced her to tell us about her past. Dillon don't blame yourself, I'm serious don't!" I comforted.

Dillon slowly nodded looking at the floor. " I never knew she'd go this far. Even after telling us about her past she'd laugh and be happy." I commented.

"Yeah, She's a strong girl, Well I'm gonna hitch a with your brother or whoever's going and get Anna something." Dillon said getting up.

I nodded and looked over at Anna sleeping, her steady breathing. I almost lost this. I said tearing up. I learned over and kissed her forehead. I took a picture of her sleeping peacefully and posted it on Twitter.

' My baby's sick:'( '. I got thousands of really nice comments that were more than just saying get well or something like that.

I sat next to the bed and never leave her side.
