*Anna's POV*
My heart is pounding. Dont you dare find me! Leave! please leave!
"Anna!" "Anna, where are you?" "Please come out!" "I love you!" They all yelled. The last one hurt. Ross made a mistake! Forgive him! No! Shut up! You ruined it yourself, theyre better off without you! I shake my head in attempt to stop thinking, its not going well.
"Anna i love you please, please come out and be with me!" Ross cries into the darkness.
I scoot closer to the rock to stop myself from running up and hugging them all. My eyes sting and the next thing i know, tears pour out of my eyes.
"Ross, shes not here," Mark says gently. They are right behind the big rock, at the edge from where it starts.
"Dad, i know she is! Shes like a mermaid! She loves the beach! Where is she," Ross says shakily and sobbing.
"Ross, we have to try again in the morning." Mark says.
"We'll drive around again tomorrow hun," Stormie sweetly promises.
"No, now!" Ross pushes.
"Ross! Calm down, theres nothing more we can do right now! i want to find her too but we need to try again tomorrow!" Mark talks over Ross's cries.
"This is exactly what she is used too!" Ross yells.
Everything goes silent. What?
"What? Ross what are you talking about?" Rocky asks.
"Shes used to everyone giving up on her! Which is exactly what you guys are doing! I dont care if we look for her tomorrow! I need to look for her now!" Ross yells.
I try and close my eyes to stop the tears but they just keep coming. What have i done to him? i ruined him. Now he thinks he cant live without me when he'd be so much better off without me. my decision was final then and it still is, I'm leaving and never coming back.
*Rydel's POV*
We finally dragged Ross back to the hotel. I want her back so much. I miss her.
"Cant we call the police?" Rocky suggests.
"We cant, she'd tell them she doesnt want to live with us or doesnt like us, then theyd take her away from us forever. Theres nothing we can do..." Dad says.
My eyes tear up," So thats it?"
Dad looks down and sadly nods," We can only hope. The officers who ive talked to say if she leaves she can live on her own for now, they wont file her to goto an orphanage unless it came down to it."
"Can we keep looking for her?" Riker begs.
"Yes, absolutely, just no signs and especially no asking strangers, that could put her in danger," Dad replies.
"We should get some sleep," Mom says breaking the silence.
"No," Ross sniffs, nobody argues with him.
Everyone sulks to their room, i cry. I know Riker was crying. Before i left he started to.
*Ross's POV*
"Riker?" I sniff.
"Yeah?" He strains.
"Where do we go from here? What do we do?"
"I hate it with all my heart to say this, but all we can do is hope she comes back and look for her. If we cant find her before we go back to cali, we have to move on," Rikers starts to cry more at the end.
I lay there in silence and put my arm across where Anna was supposed to sleep, in my arms, in paradise.
Move on?

I was gonna update this last night but yesterday was a crappy day and id rather not talk about it.
Plus im telling you guys this not to be mean but seriously when someone comments something about a mistake like i messed up the time difference between chapters like one chapter its day then suddenly night when it hasnt even been an hour (just an example but someone did call out a mistake that was a small mistake but didnt confuse anyone) LIKE SORRY I HAVE TO RUSH TO WRITE THESE OR WAIT A LONG PERIOD OF TIME TO WRITE THESE BC IM BUSY!!! I HAVE A LIFE!!!! I READ A COMMENT LIKE THAT LIKE SOMONE CALLED ME OUT ON ONE LITTLE MISTAKE AND THEN SOMEONE ELSE WAS LIKE I KNOW RIGHT OR WHATEVER LIKE REALLY SORRY I TRY AND UPDATE WHENEVER I HAVE TIME!!! Like really its a small mistake get over it. Now if its a mistake and it confuses you then ask no problem but if you comment a small mistake to just call me out and someone else go ikr like really its not a big deal. i dont have time anymore to carefully go over everything and reread a chapter. Only ask if it confuses you, dont criticize about it if you understand it and its just a small mistake. sorry but ive had a couple ppl do that (i dont rememberwhat chapters and i think some deleted their comments idk tho)
But seriously that just really annoys me so please only ask if it honestly confuses you, then ill clear it up and (when u ask if ur confused that doesnt bother me at all) sorry rant but i mean come on. Sorry if i sound mean😒 just crappy day yesterday like i said.
