Chapter 11

*Ross POV*

Anna ran out to go change and I got into my black swimming trunks and a black surf shirt on, grabbed my surf board and ran downstairs and yelled,"WHO WANTS TO GO SURFING TODAY WITH ME AND ANNA!"

Everyone yelled," Me!" And ran upstairs to change. My mom and dad are going to but my mom of course won't surf but my dad will. He surfs a little bit but not as much as us kids! Anna came down stairs in blue short shorts usually worn by surfers and a blue surfing shirt. (A/N it looks like the shirt and shorts Annasophia wore in the surf contest in the movie Soul Surfer)

"Well you look great! You actually look like surfer! A pro even!" I exclaimed.

Anna giggled," Oh thank you Ross."

"You said you never surfed, so why do you have surf clothes?" I asked. Everyone by this time was downstairs ready to go.

"Well I guess I forgot about the one time a friend took me with their family to Hawaii and I surfed a little there. And I got these clothes while I was there so I could surf all proper like." Anna smiled.

I laughed,"So you lied?"

Anna laughed,"Just a little white lie! What can I say, I'm forgetful!"

Everyone laughed. You get the point, lots of laughing.

"Let's go everyone! Come on sloth twinzie!" Rocky yelled picking up Anna.

"ROCKY!" Anna yelled giggling.

We all squeeze into the car and head to the beach. I'm in the very back by the window. Next to me is Anna and on the other side of her is her 'sloth twinzie' Rocky. In front of us is Riker, Rydel Ratliff and Ryland squeezed in the seat with Ratliff.

After 10 minutes of pointless conversation we arrive at the beach. We all grab our surfboards and bolt to the beach. All of us have long boards because they're easier to surf with and more stable on the waves. It wasn't until now that I realize that Anna had a short board. Short boards are harder to surf with because they're harder to control on waves than long boards.

"Nice board Anna," I laughed.

"Thanks...I just wanted a 'challenge' I guess but also because this is the one I had in my new house the record company put together for me...so I don't have a long board." Anna giggled.

"You can use my board if you want it's easier to control on waves. I mean you went to Hawaii once and only surfed that one trip, however long it was." I offered. I didn't want her to fall off or get thrown off her board and get hurt by her board (that actually happens it can just hit u or you fins on the bottom of your board can cut you!) or drown!

"Nah but thanks. I think I'll be ok, I surfed ALOT in Hawaii. And I was taught some techniques too." Anna said.

"Ok..." I said uneasily. I'm just nervous for her.

*Anna's POV*

I couldn't wait to get in the water. I haven't surfed since Hawaii. That was awhile ago so I actually am a little nervous. I really hope I remember everything. Let me explain my 'friend' is a family. The mom was friends with my mom when they were in high school. My mom was normal then. Then when I came along her and my dad went insane and hated me and made my life miserable. After my mom became a crazy old bat bitch, the mom, Karen, pretended to by her friend to protect me. Her husband and her said no matter what I say to get her to not because it was to dangerous. They have 3 kids, Ashley (21), Austin (19), Dillon (16). They kept their word. They've always been by me. They're the ones who took me to Hawaii. They're amazing.

I ran and jumped into the water on to my board. I started paddling out. I turned and looked at everyone. "You ready for this." I smiled.

"Be safe don't get hurt!" Riker said.
