Chapter 54

*Anna's POV*

After sound check, we all just chilled before the concert. I sat with Rydel in the corner of the dressing room. "I cant wait for Hawaii!" Rydel says.

"Me too, i cant wait to surf again...im glad i can at least do that now..." I trail off.

"Are you excited for Ellen? To go on your first talk show?" Rydel asks.

I nod," Oh yeah i cant wait! I love her show! Shes so funny."

Rydel nods in agreement," She is and im excited for you! Are you nervous?"

I shrug," Eh, i guess but im not worried about it so much. I just dont want my parents to see it because i will talk about what happened. Not like detail for detail but you know what i mean? Plus i dont remember most of what happened, i remember bits and pieces of it, kinda like a dream. I also when i get back to Cali, have to talk to that detective about what happened some more, i forgot about that."

"Oh yeah, i forgot about that detective that came and talked to you in the hospital after we left and you were just with Ryland. Dont worry about your parents at all during your interviews, you're highly protected by police now and us," Rydel reassured.

Just then Mark walked to me," Hey Anna, there is a reporter for inside edition want to schedule an interview for tomorrow night, wanna do it? They'll tape it for they're next show."

I nod," Sure, I'm gonna do it."

"You sure? Will you be okay when they ask you questions?" Mark asks.

"Yeah ill be fine," I smile.

Mark smiles and pats my back," Okay"

"Wait," I stop him as he walks away to tell the woman. The woman walks in.

"Whats wrong?" Mark asks.

"I only wanna do the interview if R5 does half of it with me and they're featured in the show when it airs," I say.

Everyone walks around me, Mark and the woman from inside addition," You dont have to do that Anna," Rocky says.

"No, i want to. I mean, you guys were there and involved, i want them there," I demand, not in a mean way though.

The woman smiles and shrugs," Sure, but will you do some it alone?"

I nod," Yes."

"Okay, R5 will be added," She announces.

Mark and her discuss where to take me and now R5 tomorrow for the interview. "Wow, thanks Anna!" Ryland exclaims.

"Yeah, that was really nice, you didnt have to do that," Riker smiles.

I shrug," I want you guys there."

They smile," I feel some improvement from the last niiiight!" Rocky says sing songy.

I roll my eyes and laugh. "Okay guys, time to get on stage," Mark announces.

The guys and Rydel run on stage and rock out like they always do.

Then Ross did the unexpected," I would like to bring, my girlfriend, Anna to the stage."

Ross waved for me to come on and i slowly walked on, the crowd screamed and cheered. I smiled and walked to Ross. He grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently," I would like to dedicate this song to Anna, shes been through some really tough times such as losing her arm and alot of other things. I just want her to know that i will always be by her side and so will all of us."

Ross gave me a longing gaze and i smiled. everyone got stools, Ellington brought mine out to, and we sat down in a line, side by side. Ross and i in the middle and Rocky on my other side.
